Has anyone seen the 2007 flick Fracture with  Anthony Hopkins?

Yes, but it's been a while

First half, this year's Emmy's

Second half, next year's Emmy's.

It's absolutely calculated, and I wish they'd just freeze them out of one year or the other so this doesn't become the norm.

Any Downton Abbey fans watch any of Julian Fellowes new show, The Gilded Age on HBO Max?

Takes place in New York City 1882, old money vs new money.

A few episodes in and entertaining.  Christine Baransky well casted.

I have. Love Christine Baransky and the costumes. But it seems like all the plot lines have been recycled from Downton Abbey

Huge McBride fan, I was a big fan when this concept came out.

I thought the first season was on the lower end of ok.

The second season has been high-caliber stuff.

My wife and I recently burned through the first season over the course of a couple weeks. We enjoyed it (me more than her...but she enjoyed it enough that it's something that we can watch together). I'm glad to hear that the second season is even better.

All on HULU:

McCartney 321—Incredible. Basically him and Rick Rubin discussing the Beatles, music, culture, song structure, recording. Just awesome.

The Curse of Von Dutch—Fascinating story about a red hot brand back in the day.

Wild Crime— Just started it, intrigued by episode one.

You should watch Barry on HBO if you havent already.

S3 is finally coming back late April after like 3 years.

I like RG a lot, but Barry is on even another level.

We're almost done with Righteous Gemstones. We alternately laugh and say, "Wow, that's stoopid," several times every episode, but it's fun.

Totally agree about Barry. One of the better comedies in recent years.

Just finished Peacemaker.

You don't need to have watched The Boys to like Peacemaker - they aren't related at all. But if you liked The Boys, you'll like Peacemaker.

Entertaining, often hilarious, totally irreverent, extremely violent fun.

I liked Peacemaker. Does not hold a candle to the Boys though

Really liked the Batman.

Loved the gritty take on it. Performances were stellar with Dano being incredible.

Like what they got cooking for the future. Quite the world building.

Pattinson is great. Makes for a really good Batman/Wayne imo. More reclusive and dark. I think hes a really good actor normally though so my opinion didnt need to be changed.

Kravitz as cat woman is awesome. Ferrell is quite the treat as early stages penguin. And like I said, Dano was a complete stand out. Legit supporting actor worthy imo.

I'll agree with that. Just saying they had similar feel.

And thanks for your reports on The Batman. I hope to see it next week.

“The Next Thing You Eat” on Hulu for any foodies and techies. David Chang hosts, he is one of the best chefs alive today. He is deeply traditional and unashamedly forward thinking, brutally self aware, and hyper intelligent. First episode is about delivery, second is about burgers.

I did the rewatch with the Talking Sopranos podcast.

Seasons two and three are fantastic television. Felt that season four was in and out with season five into six dipping. But the back half of season six really upped the package. Uncle Junior underutilized as the series went on.

Furio is my favorite character with the Bucco's a joint second. Mikey Palmice and Adriana are criminally underrated in the listicles.
