Best season since Season 1, and perhaps better than that. Super engaging group of players and coaches.
Plowed through it. Thought it was well done.

Finally watching modern family. So far so good. Haven't had a good sitcom to watch in quite awhile

Oh, its a very funny show.  I'm not sure it will age terribly well, but it's the definitive sitcom of the 2010s

Eh none of my other favorites have aged great either (how I met your mother, scrubs) so that statement makes me believe I'll like it more!

HIMYM didn’t age great cause certain characters, especially Ted, are insufferable on further viewings. I didn’t notice it as much when it was current, but I watched episode even a couple years after at it was way less amusing.

Modern Family is far more consistent and funny for me. I also like that, while there are definitive storylines, you can watch random episodes and they are still hilarious stand alone, much like The Office

Whoa.

What's wrong with scrubs?

I nominate two sit-coms for re-watching - 30 Rock and Brooklyn 99.

Lots of great writing in those series -- although B99's last couple seasons were not as crisp.

How I forgot that I like The Office more than HIMYM and Scrubs is beyond me.

Oh boy. For me? Nothing, I get the very obvious humor. No jokes seem to be made at the expense of any race, sex, or sexual preference. Rather than simple comments that these things exist.

For your easily triggered person looking for issues in comedies? Black face, general comments about race being a thing, calling people sluts, comments on the Todd's sexuality, the Todd sexually harassing pretty much everybody, and I'm sure there's somebody offended that Dr Cox uses girls names to mock an effeminate JD.

Again I'm not looking to be triggered but someone who is doesn't need to look very hard at Scrubs to find reasons.

Zac Braff’s stepsister is a standup comedian named Jessica Kirson. Absolutely hilarious. She has at least one special on Netflix. She also has a podcast called Relatively Sane that’s available on Spotify. The episodes with Chris DiStefano, Artie Lange and yes, Zac Braff are all great.

Re-watching?

I'm pretty sure I've never seen an episode of either. Something else to add into the queue.

No doubt you view this similarly to how I viewed Galway's post saying he'd started watching Modern Family. There really is a virtually endless supply of quality things to watch between all the streaming services.

I'm partway through Season 3 of Star Trek Discovery. It's very good so far. I'd put it up there just under Deep Space Nine and The Next Generation, but above the other Star Treks.

We'll see where Picard shakes out. Season 2 should start filming soon. So far it has been heavy on the fan service.

The Challenge: All Stars starts April 1st. Bringing back some real old school players.

Here’s hoping for another Derrick vs. Syrus Beach Brawl.

Just watched John Oliver’s spot-on profile of Tucker Carlson, the hero of white supremacists everywhere.

That’s crazy. I can get people not enjoying [Succession], but S2 was so fantastic. Season 1 was entertaining, S2 was next level.

Just finished S2. I’m glad you encouraged me to jump back in. Outstanding.

Marquette getting more representation on the Curse of Oak Island again this week.  Peter Fornetti's brother, Dave, was sporting an MU hat.  May have been MU BB.  Not sure if the brother is a grad like Peter.

Bear town on HBO.

I'm not sure advertising is your thing.

Watching the Snyder cut of Justice League. So far it's better than what they put out previously.

Yeah ... not the catchiest slogan.

Seriously, I've been recommending Beartown.

RIP Jessica Walter, aka Lucille Bluth

Aka Malory Archer.

A working actress for 40 years who was nominated for various awards and had an accomplished stage career. Known as very nice and reserved...completely ignited her career in her 60s playing a pair of snarky, sassy, hilariously mean mothers.  She was sensational in both.
