This fantastic defensive effort from Maryland may be wearing them down?? Lets keep this run going!

Dan Dakich is officially my least favorite person on the planet.. what a turd.

Honestly, his voice is even annoying as hell.

Howard hesitant to pull the trigger on that three. Think the length is bothering him.

Enough with the dakich posts?? Been more posts about him than the game. There's a thread for him now so you can spam every variation of "dakich is bad" for 20 pages on there

Not a fan of this whistle. Really killing some momentum on questionable calls.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Eh, he was looking up at the ball trying to grab it. I think the whole thing should just be no calls all the way around. I don't see any ill will on Jayce getting knocked in the head, and then the scrum was a big ol nothing-burger.

I don't think ill will enters into it. Elbow to head = flagrant 1.

17 foul cals against us. 9 against them.

Dakich sounds likes Dan McNeil on meth.

Both Indiana guys, both have likely been on meth.

I feel like the whole team plays better on both sides of the ball when Markus can knock down some shots. Even if he's not going for big numbers. Just seeing the ball go through the hoops gives the whole group some confidence. Without that today, they seem to lose a little edge.

Overall, the effort's pretty good, and Brendan has helped provide a little extra spark. There's a little extra "it" factor that's not quite there today.

Not surprising.  Young kids play down to the level of their competition. I'm sure Maryland looked at the front of the jersey of the first two opponents and sleep walked a bit. Not today.  MU did say against Robert Morris.  Human nature.

So THAT'S why MU blewout Loyola Maryland. Got it.

Howard seems to be struggling leg wise. Coming up short on everything.

Maybe DOMS from two superhuman efforts in the previous games. (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness)

Brendan Bailey coming out party at least. He has really turned it around after that blown wide open layup.

I hope Dawson Garcia is watching.

Wait, no false pretense of respectful objective discourse this time? What could possibly have changed?

McEwen had him wide open for another 3-attempt. Instead he kept it himself, put his head down and turned it over.

Can someone please explain to me why McEwen is getting so much run?

Looks great. Nice takes to the hoop. Shot is pure.

Even as a loss I'm happy with how they came out i the second half. Just too insurmountable after that first half clunker. Plus no Markus at all.

First game of the year, team fired up, hasn't played in months is a little different than playing a cupcake further in the season...in my opinion.

I'm going to say concussion for JJ.  His head got hit hard with that elbow.

I’m shocked he’s back. He took quite a shot to the head. Hope he is ok.

Yes, when no less than 5 of illustrious posters here said he should be benched.  LOL
