Eh, he's not wrong. One marketing guy always had cheerleading/mascot oversight, at least one guy always approved my hours.

I was a mascot for another school once, it was so hot in there and hard to see! I knew one of the GE's when I was at MU and he said he'd lose about 10 pounds again.  I need to be a mascot again...
