It's time for a major conference or conferences to break away from the NCAA completely and set up collegiate athletics with modern rules and fair governance.  This Memphis / James Wiseman thing really got me thinking about how out of touch the NCAA really is.

I invite them to, and since the tv contract and all the $$$$ is tied to the NCAA I would laugh with much vigor.  But sure, maybe someone else offers money for TV and they can break away...go for it.

Not sure how he is still playing.  A former Memphis player pays to move the kid to memphis to play for him.  Seems pretty simple to me.  I am more on the side of the NCAA and tired of the spoiled stars crying over how poorly the ncaa treats them.  They do get a free education and so many free gifts it is not even funny.
