I never heard that term before.  What's 100% diversity?  Do you need an eskimo, a pygmy and an aborigine or do you need one of each sex and/or gender identity?

I took his quote to be similar to the old song about taxing the rich and feeding the poor til there are no rich no more. He don't know what to do....so he leaving it up to you.

Employers want quality. The Diversity racket is trying to make everyone think otherwise.

I personally rejected diversity argument from the beginning and it served me very well.

I never wanted to be known as affirmative action or hear qualifiers before any achievement I had.

There are some parts of the comments in that article that I am understanding of. In particular the ones that expressed not being made felt welcome. I guess I had a thicker skin and just let those micro aggressions , as they are called today, slide past . Kids today need to be stronger.

My advice to youth today is ignore the diversity racket as it just keeps you down . Strive to be the best.

My personal idol is Ben Carson. Grew up in as bad of circumstance as possible and then became the worlds best pediatric brain surgeon . So anything is possible if you do the work and focus on being the best.

This is one of the driest books I've ever read and one of the only books in my adult life I did not finish.  So painful to read.  I could only go a few pages before literally falling asleep.  I was very disappointed because I find the subject matter very interesting and it seemed right up my alley.

My experience is pretty similar.   5 pages at a time is about as far as I get.  The first 30 pages were better but it's a struggle.

I'm about 100 pages in.  We'll see if I finish it.  I really enjoyed the first Diamond book I read, The Third Chimpanzee.  Hopefully this book picks up soon.
