Anyone know if they check your student ID at the door because my son wants to go and he's in high school and we could get tickets through a student there

Per the Homecoming web page:

Doors to the Al McGuire Center will open at 8 p.m. and tickets are non-transferrable. Students will need their Marquette ID to claim the tickets and for entrance to Madness.
Have some patience, FFS.

Marquette Gyros

Will likely be staying at a mansion somewhere in Wiscansin after his performance.

TAMU

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Markusquette

He's very talented. Cool to have him there. Enjoy students!

TallTitan34

Did something happen with T-Pain?

I've seen a few posts on Twitter that he got pissed and walked off stage. Haven't seen the Marquette account post any pictures or video of him...

TallTitan34

@gurmansr
T-Pain just referred to all of us as a**holes. Marquette Madness done right

@Zarathak23
Dude T-Pain walked off the stage at the marquette basketball thing tonight and said "f**k Marquette" lmaoooooooooo

@Zarathak23
Ive just heard 3rd hand but apparently the students weren't reacting to the music at all so got pissed and left lololololol

@Kolohe_Gabbs
Yo whoever f**king disrespected @TPAIN  tonight at Marquette Madness and made him get off the stage

@Kolohe_Gabbs
Some girl just disrespected him it's hard to explain

@timmylawder
Sorry @TPAIN that the front was dry. We were holdin it down in nose bleeds.

Is this going to affect our ranking more or less than a bad performance in a secret scrimmage

MU Fan in Connecticut

Should have invited House of Pain instead.

#UnleashSean

Lol irrelevant rapper gets mad that students who probably heard 2 of his songs ever got mad they didn't respond well to his irrelevant music? Rip.

GooooMarquette

So if the guy has become a past-tense big deal rapper, does MU get bonus points for dissing him?

I had pain perdu for breakfast. Does that help?

Dr. Blackheart

Maybe "Rick Springfield and the State Fair Band" would have been the better choice?

Galway Eagle

What a dbag this is why I can't stand rappers, they think they're wayyy too hot $hit. Do we have to pay if he doesn't finish a set?
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

The Thing

GooooMarquette

A quick Google search revealed that this isn't the first time he has walked off the stage during a show for being "disrespected." Like in Denver back in February.

I hope MU had the foresight to make his contract contingent on him finishing the set.

I heard he wrote a letter first too before he stormed off.

Crowd didn't look bad on the public Snapchat story

Why you can't stand all rappers?  Pretty broad brush ya have there.  Every genre of music has a-holes, but me thinks when you call out one genre for being entitled or "hot $hit", ya might want to check some biases you may have.

Next year, MU needs to bring in an old-school, dependable rock band like Guns n Roses.

I was at a Marshall Tucker Band free stage show at State Fair where the drunk lead singer fell down, swore at the crowd, and left the stage. Show over.

I've sworn off southern rock since.

Was he singing "Can't You See"?
