Good point. Still a pretty good deal. About 26 cents a day. You could always subscribe starting in November and cancel after the NCAA tournament.

Those digital subscription deals change all the time.  Two years in a row I got .99/mo for 12 months deal.

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Seems like a great kid with great tools.   Like Garcia, he is going to have to bulk up to handle the Big East physicality.

Yep, but I love having two bigs who can handle the ball and pass from up top.

I loved every minute of that video. It checked all the boxes.

Long, athletic,, skilled, articulate, intelligent, and personable kid. Check.

Multiple references to Marquette. Check

Reference to Markus Howard. Check.

Reference to Marquettes top ten recruiting class. Check.

Thanks for the link......It made my day.

Not a critique, just so we get it right by the time he gets here (no more Marcus, Sakar, O'Tule etc): It's Oso.

His nickname is Oso.   The contraction of his first name is Osa.

Now that I hear his name pronounced in the interview, is his nickname 'The Sorcerer'?

Pretty nice.

I have to imagine we lose Cain and/or Elliott in that instance. Can't imagine they'd be thrilled being bench players to two freshmen.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Possible. I think only Koby and Bailey are playing 30 mpg though.

I think it's more likely Elliott stays around at least one more year.  He could be positioned to grad transfer in 2 years.  Burning a year of eligibility to sit out makes little sense.

He'd also be in higher demand as a grad transfer, IMO.

Makes sense.

If I were an athlete (or an athlete's parent), I would not love being recruited over. But it's life, and every athlete knows it's a possibility. I'd hate to see Cain and Elliott go because they seem like great kids, and they provide a lot of energy and intangibles when they are healthy and on their games, and it would be great to have that kind of depth. But I wouldn't blame them if they left, and I'd wish them well.

Anyone else think it's a bit premature to pencil in two Freshman (including one who hasn't even committed yet) into the starting line-up?  Even taking high school rankings and accolades I would still expect Elliott and Cain to be starting over (possibly) Mane and Garcia, at least in November.

Unsure. I'm sure Bailey will start, I'm sure Koby will. If we get Mane, it's very hard to believe a person penciled as a second rounder wouldn't get the nod over Greg or Symir (or dexter). Cains been awesome so far but inconsistent, and I could definitely see him taking a back seat to Garcia if Garcia adapts into the college speed quickly.

Future 1st round pick Nassir Little didn't start a collegiate game and averaged less than 20 mpg.  NBA drafts on potential, starting in college is a "what can you do for me now" business.

I know what the statistics and our numbers regarding transfers are, but Jr Jamal has been behind Soph BB all year, and there haven't been any rumors about him going anywhere.  When healthy GE is either 1st or 2nd off the bench (depending on how fast Theo picks up his first 2 fouls).  Writing them off as future transfers is foolish, especially when one of the players "running them off" is still an undecided recruit.

Cain will be a senior next year, he is going to nowhere unless he leaves this summer, he is a nice backup but that is all I see.  Elliott has been hurt so much it is hard
to figure him out right now, I see him getting a chance to start next year but it will not be easy if Mane is that good.
