With the addition of The University of Connecticut, the Big East conference now features 7, that's SEVEN, teams utilizing primarily some variation of Blue and White/Grey in their color scheme! UConn, SetonHall, Georgetown, Xavier, Creighton, Villanova, and Butler all don primarily Blue with Grey/White. While Marquette features blue as a primary uniform color, its addition of gold and championship blue sets it apart from the pack. St John's actually also features blue along with its main usage of red and white. DePaul, while known as the BLUE Demons, incorporate enough red to escape the "static seven" as I will call them.

It's summer, and the thread ideas (pun intended) are getting low. While the success of our beloved league looks to be bolstered considerably by the re-addition of the school from Storrs, can the league offer monetary incentives to get one of these 7 humdrum monotones to change their color schemes?
Zenyatta has a lot....a lot... of ground to make up. She gets there from here she'd be a super horse......what's this.....Zenyatta hooked to the grandstand side....Zenyatta flying on the outside....this....is...un-belieeeeeevable!...looked impossible at the top of the stretch...

Looks like the Big East needs to do what it takes to land Fordham.

Well...let's get Duke and UNC to join the leagues well.

Interestingly (word used cautiously) enough, in our Orlando tournament, all of the teams sans us has a hue of red

It would be worth admitting Fordham simple for the "F U !" chants.
Have some patience, FFS.

If chants are a factor, I vote for Austin Peay.

It's a classic.

When Fly Williams was around in the early 1970s, the chant was, "The Fly's Open. Let's go Peay!

Not unless they agree to color changes!  Particularly, UNC.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

My dog's favorite university.  Every time I say "Let's go pee" she gets very excited.
