I mean what difference does it make?? It would likely just be another dog they would pound on anyway. As a season ticket holder, it doesn't really matter to me. I'm honestly more upset I have to pay for stupid exhibition game every year.

I mean, i have said this before and it always kind of confuses me when people complain about the home non conf schedule. All i care about is seeing MU win. That's it, that's the most important thing to me when attending a game. I look at it like this, the lessor the opponent, the easier it is on my health and nerves. So that's a win-win for me.  ;D

I'm confused. Do you want another dog so you can see them win or are you sticking to apathy?

Issue with the non-conference is the fact that unlike last year the only major game (Purdue) is a week day. Last year we got Wisconsin, Kansas St, and Buffalo on Saturdays and Friday before Christmas.

As long as the Bug 12 matchup is in sync with Wisconsin, the noncon will always be weak every other year.

MU v. St. Norbert is no exhibition.  It will be family hate week.

Mrs. Legs grew across the river from St. Norbert; she went to MU with me; her dad to St. Norbert.
One of my sisters went to MU; her husband to St. Norbert; 2 of their 4 at MU now.
Other sister went to St. Norbert; her daughter will be freshman at St. Norbert.

4 St. Norbert alums/students v. 5 MU alums/students.

MU wins this one, the season is a success

Similar here, but more one sided and spread to social circles.  I went to MU for grad school but my wife went to St. Norbert.  A good size portion of our social circle were all St. Norbert WBB players though and a few other athletes.  I think they want to make a group event out of this and I may be outnumbered substantially.

any inside info on the plans for mini-packs this year? With fewer good games, will they offer 3 or 4 packs rather than 5?  If it's five, it would seem to look something like:

Purdue
Seton Hall
Creighton
St John's
Butler

or

Villanova
Georgetown
Xavier
Providence
DePaul

The game is 2 days before Hamilton opens in Madison.   I'm glad there won't be a conflict with my Hamilton tickets!

Psh...Hamilton conflict worked for me!

I initially thought they'd try to make this work, but the more I look at it the less likely I think it is. Maryland is the marquee team with the Hausers' transfer. I would guess the four high majors (MD, MU, TAMU, USC) each start with one of the mid-majors (Davidson, Fairfield, Harvard, Temple). And it would seem most likely they put us on the same side of the bracket as USC.

I'd happily be wrong, but my guess is it would be in the final game if we do see Buzz.

I'm sure it will be a 5 game mini plan. Mini plans are designed more by date than by opponents.

K State is promoting their game with MU as a marquee matchup. That is a nice positive for our program.

I am definitely not in love with this matchup. In fact, Davidson was the team I least wanted to play.

Very good coach, very good system. And all 5 starters back from a team that won 24 games, beat Winthrop, Wichita State, VCU and St. Louis, and probably will be favored to win the A-10 this season.

This will be a trendy upset pick, and for good reason.

On the plus side, it will be a good win if we get it.

Davidson projected 50th on T-Rank.  Tough matchup but can prep for them.  Good challenge early

I hope we're not paired with the USC/ Fairfield matchup. If we do get upset by Davidson (they are an at large caliber team) , playing Fairfield is an awful outcome.

Davidson may end up being the most important game of the regular season

Ugh, Davidson then USC/Fairfield is probably the worst possible draw.

I like the draw for the Advocare event. We are going to have a solid team this year and we can put three quality wins on the board early.

With the 2019-20 Bucks schedule released, we now know that the games on Saturday 11/23 (Robert Morris) and Saturday 12/28 (Central Arkansas) will be during the day, since the Bucks play home games at 7:30pm each of those nights.
