Perhaps MU/Wojo should instruct Nike to contract with a true Warrior, Bo Ellis, to design new unis suitable for an NCAA title run. It worked out pretty well the last time.

sort of a shame, they finally added real horizontal stripes to the baby blues, was hoping it was a sign of a small but better addition like when they added a couple minor changes to the old jerseys in 2012. But still looking forward to the new design

Never really liked the overall design of these. Bring back 03 or 11.

Was the video of the guy talking into the ear piece of the phone made by a crew that never used anything other than a speaker phone or computer to communicate?  I don't know why that bothers me, but it does.

I was thinking this is what the "changes" are.  We saw the more pronounced stripes on the jersey with the "championship" blues and everyone seemed to love it.  The post says "changes to the uniform."  If they were completely new uniform designs I would think the post would've said "new uniforms."

Can we lose the NASCAR look?  Do we need a logos for Jordan, US Flag, Al & Big East?

The flag and Al need to go.

I agree. I wouldn't mind losing the Big East one either, though I'm sure the league has a rule on that.

My requests would be:
- Make the horizontal stripes on the navy jerseys gold
- Make the horizontal stripes on the gold and white jerseys a little more prominent like they did on the baby blues last year
- Take off flag, leave AL, Jordan, and Big East
- Update side stripes just to keep it fresh
- A throwback jersey now and then

Do we really need the AL? I mean it's on the court, he has a whole practice facility, he has a game day, idk it just seems a bit like overkill at a certain point.

Whatever the new version is, the previous version was better (evergreen statement for any new version).
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

The current jerseys are close to looking great.

All the striping in the side panels needs to be larger and more spaced out. It comes off as grey instead of blue with gold stripes. The stripes are too fine to even notice when watching on TV, or even the upper deck.

The white jerseys could use some gold number and letter outlining. The jerseys don't feel like Marquette jerseys without gold in them. I'd add navy outlines to the baby blue jerseys, too.

I'd also prefer different colored collars along the arm and neck holes. But I guess that's not the modern style.

I'm with you. AL is everywhere on campus and in our program (as he should be). He doesn't need to be on the jerseys. It was fine in the couple years after he died, which is when I think it originally got put on there.

I think we need to put “Buzz” on the jersey since we forced him out

We need to make sure not to schedule Akron since Larry Williams is now their athletic director.

We can make this the new back-panel.

The flag should go.

Al needs to go.  As others have said, it's overkill. We might as well change our name to the "Fightin' Als" considering everything. Don't forget, we had his image on the back panel of previous jerseys.

I'd also like to see the official wordmark not on the jerseys and instead just using block letters like the old baby blues back n 2010, or maybe have some fun and have the font from the baby blue road uniforms from the early 70's.  "Marquette" back to above the numerals too.
