I'll be honest, unless Markus leaves, I'm not expecting a grad transfer. Still, we enjoy tracking them. We have breakdowns of the top 15 on the market and 15 bonus names

I wouldn't be going after VaTech's player. Wonder if this was a reason that Buzz and the VPI administration were suddenly not seeing eye to eye.

New school same Bazz.  Explains the rumors that VT had "messed with Bazz's happy" going into this season.  I'm more confident than ever that we're better off without him.

Its DJOver

This just became the most important thread of the offseason.  Even if (when) Symir comes, we now have two openings.  Need a high impact player to supplement the loss.

I'm working on an update that should come out in the next few days.

But if I'm Wojo, I'm looking at:

Kerry Blackshear
Rayjon Tucker Jr
Justin Pierce
Daniel Utomi
Keith Stone
Matt Ryan
Alihan Demir
Pat Andree

The top two virtually make up for a lost Hauser. The others would go a long way towards filling the gaps they left behind.

Update posted. Lots of talent available, unfortunately it's mostly guards.

We have not seen MU mentioned with a single grad transfer to this point...that is disturbing. Especially since it seems Wojo knew the hausers were transferring already in March...why was he not out in front of it and getting involved with some of these guys??

I don't think it seems that way at all.

Not too much of a surprise. Pickiel recruited him to Stony Brook before he left for Rutgers. Unfortunate, I think he fit our needs in a lot of different ways. Looks like we are all in on Johnson or a future grad transfer who has yet to announce their transfer.

Don't forget my boy Shakur Juiston...and I'm pretty sure his name was on the whiteboard.  :)

I think the kid from West Virginia would be persona non grata at MU, however, someone else in our league like DePaul might be willing to take the risk for a year.

Both the players out on suspension actually could fit our needs nicely. Clarke and Harris both have decent rebounding numbers, decent size, and have theoretical floor stretching ability (Clarke low volume but high %, Harris higher volume, lower %). Given that I can find zero information about programs recruiting them, I'm wondering if they won't be one of those quiet signings that happen late in the offseason. I'm also not certain about Harris' status. He was kicked off the team in February, did he actually stick around and graduate? I don't know.

Jimmy Whitt pulling out of the NBA draft and is going to grad transfer from SMU. Was arguably the Ponies' best player this past season. Not sure we'd get involved because he's not a match for what we need, but I mention him because we were in his final 5 when he committed to Arkansas. He then transferred to SMU who was also in his final 5, only three left eh?

Even though he's not an exact match, he's a talent. Good distributor and slasher. Would give us a ton of flexibility at the point. Biggest concern is that he has no 3 point shot. 16 career 3PMs with under 25% accuracy.

Tamu,

It's a guard's game, right.

Great rebounder for a guard and he has a nice mid-range jumper. As you said, he, Kobe and Markus would make an incredible backcourt.

Based on his rebounding and toughness, Jimmy can also shift to play the three, at least defensively. He's a total pest.

And I feel Greg, Cain and Bailey will surprise us with their 3pt shooting next year (in addition to Sacar and Markus) so I'd love to see him come to Milwaukee.

Silenzio. Parla il moomoo.

I would pass here. A step down from both Greg and Sacar.
