What about Mark Turgeon against his old school?

And Wojo against his home state?

Decent field, led by our Warriors. Would very much like to go to this. All will depend on my coaching schedule, which I won't know for a few months.

It is actually a pretty awful field.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

It's average for a preseason tournament. We've certainly been in better fields. We've been in worse too (Paradise Jam 2012, Anaheim Classic 2014, Legends classic 2016 where all four teams were 70+ Kenpom). 6 of the 8 teams are Kenpom top 100 this year and Harvard was only slightly below. Fairfield was in the 200s.

Could be better but 6-7 good/solid teams.

Marquette and Maryland both have potential to be top 10-15 teams next season depending on who does and doesn't go pro. USC has a top 5 recruiting class highlighted by two five star recruits. If Gilder comes back healthy TAMU should be a bubbly team. Davidson, Temple, and Harvard are three of the top mid-majors. It's not the best of fields but its a far cry from pretty awful IMHO.

I felt that way, too, but JJJJJJJJJJ was pretty darn sure of its awfulness.

If MU beats Harvard, can we claim the Midwest academic title?

Tickets on sale now at early bird pricing (save $25).

http://espnevents.com/orlando-invitational/tickets/

Unlike Maui, the Orlando tourney only sells all-session tickets ($150)... so no "booster" tickets that get you into just the games that MU plays.

Also - in 2014, at least - tickets had to be picked up at the box office at WWOS the week of the tournament, so selling unused session tickets isn't easy to do.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

They have a mobile app now and there is also print at home option (although the only choice is will call when you buy).

I saw that, Benny, and it's a pretty darn good deal for as intimate an arena as this is. If I was even 60% sure I could go, I'd buy the tickets now.

Davidson, Fairfield, Harvard, Maryland, Temple, USC round out the field with us and the Buzzard.

Almost have to schedule us with A&M in the first round. I can see them wanting to put teams with the P6 conferences against non P6 but hard to pass up the drama of Buzz playing Marquette

If we face off against the Aggies in Orlando we better beat them because it's probably the last time a Wojo coached Marquette will have any chance to beat a Buzz-led A&M

Buzz Williams has forgotten more about coaching hoops than Wojo will ever have any hope of learning.

We already did that in the NIT last year.   ;)

Just to save $25?  You been shorting stocks other than TSLA lately?

Sorry if Fairfield, Davidson, Harvard, Temple, and USC don't get me excited.  Half the field is garbage.

I will probably be there as well.  Hard to turn down Florida in late November!  But the field doesn't really get me excited (sorry).  The potential for a Fairfield - Davidson - Temple/USC type schedule would be pretty bad for a non con tourney
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Why do you still come on here if you are so pissed off about the program? Just hang at WolverineScoop.

It has to be hard for him to remember what other schools he claims to be affiliated with and are better than MU. I'm sure he's exhausted all options looking for OxfordScoop and SorbonneScoop.

Not sure if trolling, but Buzz has never drawn up an offensive play at MU or VT.

Mathematically and scientifically, middle aged is when your waist size is > than your age.  Proven fact.

If so, sweater vests and Untuckits are your future, young mascot.

Oh man! I'm at an odd age right between the even pant sizes I go back and forth between.
