11th Annual FFC Day
« on: March 31, 2019, 09:00:43 PM »
Its that time again to celebrate boys and girls. Skip school, skip work, go skinny dipping and party like there's no tomorrow. This is fast becoming every Warriors fan's favorite holiday. Its "Freedom From Crean Day" and we are forever grateful to IU for taking the albatross to Bloomington. Karma's a bitch, aina?

I remember the moment I found out the mfer was leaving. I had come home from a long day of school with the intention of watching some adult content on my desktop PC but instead first went to Cracked Sidewalks and saw the jaw dropping article that he had escaped off to Bloomington. Thought it was a joke at first and phoned my father who also thought I was joking. I was definitely worried about MU falling off the map especially after subsequent articles of tyshawn Taylor and nick williams decommitting. MU then went with the “boring” hire of buzz Williams but it turned out as a major upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Can’t believe it’s already been 11 years.

I was at a Warfighting Conference at the Naval Post Graduate School at Monterey.

Our naval brethren saw fit to billet us at the Hyatt Regency at Del Monte Golf Course. When I went into the fitness center that fateful Tuesday morning one of the lads told me that ESPN was reporting Crean had taken the I4 job.

I think he was surprised I was overcome with joy at the news. I explained that Crean was a semi-talented sh1t head whose departure was a blessing.

Nothing like cutting a slice out of doors. Kind of a primeval zestiness which I find very appealing.
