Team Basketball
« on: March 21, 2019, 05:44:58 PM »
Sure Howard went off a few games but overall when we played our best we played team ball and the ball moved via the pass.  Look at STJ in the BET we moved the ball and everyone was involved.  We have struggled with too much individual ball.  Howard gets caught looking for ball screens too much on his own.  At his size he does not get the calls inside on his drives.  Drive and kick, drive and dish.
When felling it yes Howard should go off
Joey and Sam are not one on one players except in the post they need ball movement to be successful.

What have I been saying all season? Howard is far from our best player

Best playwr or not aegument aside
The ball moves very slowly on this team and then inexpicably goes to theo or morrow far too often.

We had 24 field goals. They had 23 assists. I could not believe we continued to double team when they found the open guy every single time.

Bring back FFP!!!

Exactly. It is so painful to watch. We either iso markus and hope he hits tough shots or iso slow man sam and hope he can hit hard shots. Bailey is a horrific shooter. Theo was dominated. No heart just fear. Broken offense and defense. Turnovers. This is on wojo. If we dont make sweet sixteen. next year you fire wojo without a doubt

Because he lead in ppg? I expected you to see beyond a single statistic to just how awful Markus has been.

But just to engage with you:

Markus' past 5 games shooting percentage

33%
7%
53%
32%
18%

So you accuse me of only looking at a single statistic....then you use one single statistic in a 5 game stretch to justify your argument.

Personally, I'm going to go with the people who select the All America teams and Big East Player of the Year.
