Side note:  I love how they too have a thread on how their conference officiating needs to improve.

Did the one guy think Hartford was in New Jersey?  Or was he just doing a regional comment.  I like Kentucky, done the houseboat thing at Lake Cumberland, but found it funny they were bagging on NE cities.

At any rate, will be a very tough game against a very good team, Hausers are the key.  I had a heart attack last time we played them.  I remember them coming to MKE with Popeye Jones way back in the day when MU hosted NCAA tournament.  Nice people, good fans.  We will have our hands full.
"I hate everything about this job except the games, Everything. I don't even get affected anymore by the winning, by the ratings, those things. The trouble is, it will sound like an excuse because we've never won the national championship, but winning just isn't all that important to me." Al McGuire

One dude thinks each team is only gonna commit 18 fouls each in his predictions.

Boy are they in for a treat. Have we played in a game this year where both teams weren't in the double bonus each half?

Are there Big East Officials in Hartford? Just geographically you would think it was probable. If they officiate our game Murray State is a lock.

.

I'm pretty sure we didn't reach the bonus in any of the four halves against Villanova this year. Regular bonus. Not even double bonus.

They seem pretty confident that this one is going their way. A lot of this depends on Markus' wrist. But if he is healthy I think this is a game where Sam and Markus can do some damage.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

They take their projections seriously, huh?  A complete projected box score?!?!

It should be a good game without an ejection fest.

IMO Hartford is over the top money.  Small town, the home of the so-called insurance industry.

They like to keep a low profile (old money) because the insurance industry has been skimming wealth off the top for the life of the country.  You can't live with insurance and you can't live without it.  Industries come and industries go, but insurance is always there.

They have a great arena, home of Ucon, close to NY and Boston, wish I were there.

warriorfred

Good facilities, a few decent restaurants near the arena.  Hartford is a good first round site.  Wish I was there.

Hartford's a crap hole and so is the arena.

Try visiting Essex Connecticut and check out the Hartford fleet.  On a par with Anapolis.

There are a lot of nice places in New Jersey. Princeton is a great town and the Jersey shore can be a very affordable family vacation. Tubing down the Delaware is great fun. As the midwest is fly over country New Jersey unfortunately is drive threw country. Because of our preconceived notions a lot of us just don't stop to see what we are missing.

O.K. I'll add a few more.
Summit, Rumson, Far Hills, Bedminster, Berdnardsville, Westfield, Ridgewood, Spring Lake, Short Hills.  Never let the facts stand in the way of an opinion.

Foxwoods is about 45 miles from Hartford.....a straight shot on I think Highway 2

About $70 for a room.....good dining......

Probably a decent package available.....Several 1000 rooms.....

You seeing anything for $70?  On Foxwoods' site, I'm only seeing $400/night and above...
