I'll say 1 BET game and 3 or 4 NCAA games. All depends on match ups in the NCAAs though.

The bolded x100.  I am not overly optimistic about tonight, but at this point, I am OK with it.  But I do think this team will do well against teams that have limited time to prepare, and yes, refs that aren't from the Big East.

I think we're going to our first Big East final, though I'm not bullish on us cutting down nets Saturday. I think we go out in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament, though I like our odds better as a 4/5 than I do a 3, oddly enough.

Very unlikely, but you never know. As much as we try to project and predict, the committee brings a human element that can't be predicted.

I outlined it in one of the CS threads the other day. It's not impossible, but it is highly unlikely. Win the BET and get the right collection of results and we can get to the 3 line. I think there are 11 teams concretely on the top-3 lines right now. That last 3 is up for grabs.

No.  6 seed is the worst MU can get IMHO. People like Brew and TAMU who pay more attention to seeding than I do have been pretty adamant about that as well.

I hope you're right, but we're 29 in NET rankings.  Going strictly on that basis, that puts us at an 8 seed as of today.  Obviously the committee won't go strictly on that basis, but the eye test over the last five games (if they lose tonight) says that Marquette has been figured out and shouldn't be moved up from the statistical ranking.

They're still evaluating overall resume, and ours is widely better than the teams in the 6+ seeds.
