I sustained an eye injury during a soccer game that, according to the eye doctor, could have caused permanent blindness.  I took a ball right to the eye from point blank range.  I don't remember many of the details bc I was in middle school, but my treatment was literally play videos games and watch tv for a week.  I wasn't allowed to read, go to school or play sports that week.  Actually, I wasn't allowed to play soccer for several weeks, which sucked.  After that ordeal, eye injuries always make me cringe.  I hope Sam is okay.
