I just think it takes one more road game for the guys to figure out how to win. Hope they prove me wrong.

When we are down three and MH hits that game tying 3 at the buzzer......you will not cheer with the same heart felt exuberance that you would normally. Then you start thinking we'll maybe Bluejays will still cover in OT.  It sucks. I've done it and won't do it anymore. I'll bet on MU to win, but can't go the other way. Not because I'm more of a fan or anything along those lines, it's just a sucky feeling when it could be better.

Well Vegas knows KenPom. KemPom I think overrates Creighton because of how they scheduled their non conference. No bad buy games,  beat up on a lot of real good buy games (teams ranked between 72 and 120), but are 1-5 against teams ranked 71 or higher.

If I were a betting man who could bet dispassionately on a team I'm a huge fan of, I would take the 2.5. The surface facts favor Creighton: They are a great 3pt shooting team, it's a home game, and MU hasn't won on the road yet. The secondary facts are more in MU's favor: jump shooting teams can have an off night, MU can play inside and out so Creighton could get in foul trouble, and Creighton still has not beaten a Quadrant 1 team(0-5) and MU is a Quadrant 1 team.

This is either going to be a Creighton blow out or a tight MU victory in my opinion.

I think we match up very well with Creighton.

The Bluejays offense may be overrated this season. They've racked up big scoring totals against nobody competition -- averaging 92 points in games against teams outside the KenPom Top 100, but only 76 ppg against Top 100 teams. That's a big swing.

Creighton is without its two most efficient and productive offensive players from a year ago: Marcus Foster and Khyri Thomas. BTW, we beat them twice last year. And Marquette is by far the better defensive and rebounding team this season.

We've got this. If I had money on the game, I'd take Marquette and the points. My prediction: MU 79, CU 75.

CU giving us a lot of respect.  They know Markus can hit from anywhere at anytime.  Also always amusing to see people's reaction when they discover that we have a second Hauser, who's arguably better than the first.  Would like to see Sacar replicate his performance last year, would also be nice to see Ed rebound from a bad game against a former in-state rival.
