Very poor way of determining how fair the refereeing is in a particular game.

Spotcheck Billy

Is it just me or does Davison look like Charlie Brown?

Timely.

I'd give him the charge on that second one in the montage, since it looked like the offensive player pushed off with his arm.  The rest of them are flops.

skianth16

As ugly as this is, if he's spending a lot of time guarding Markus next weekend, Markus really needs to watch the off-arm push he kept doing in the Louisville game. Davison will flail every time, and it could get Markus in foul trouble and/or get him out of his rhythm.

MomofMUltiples

Davison doesn't just flail.  He jumps backward like he's been shot out of a cannon.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

This is a good point, but it also works both ways.  Refs are a lot less likely to believe his flops, if he's guarding a 5'-11" 175lb player.  His size contributes to the amount of times that Markus gets away with it.

I caught the last 8 minutes of the game last night.  Impressive D by Davison. He reminds me of a young Duke PG from the late '90s.  Having trouble with the name but it was long and he was annoying and called a flopper.

Wojo may have flopped but he got his feet set at least.

wadesworld

You don't need your feet set to take a charge.

But when Wisconsin fans are calling out their own player for flopping like they were last year, you know it's an issue.

tower912

It isn't like this is something new for a Wisconsin player.   We've been complaining  about that forever.

That's seriously embarrassing. Not sure how you can feel good about yourself when you rely on that to make plays

I'm sure UW fans are ok with it. They are more educated and understand that it is ok. And it's a W. But he also got ripped on multiple ESPN shows today.

The fact that his flopping made the final segment of Around the Horn today made me smile.  Everyone sees it!

Would love to see Theo knock the rodent "Charlie Brown" hard to the ground.

I liked it better when they stunk last year.

It's gonna take a hell of an effort for MU to win next weekend.

They are a tough team this year.  Look to be back to a tourney lock and top half of the Big 14 team.

Next weekend will be a tough game.

BM1090

Agree they are back to being good.

I think we win next weekend. We have more size and quickness at 4 of 5 positions

We do?

Happ is certainly quicker then our center. Trice is as tall and quick as Markus. Iverson quicker then Sam. Reuvers bigger then Joey. Davidson probably as quick as whoever is playing the 2 for us.....unless it's Markus.

They are playing a lot more small ball this season surrounding Happ with 4 guards in those lineups.....those matchups can go either way as we know.....Iowa had more size today and still lost. UW made 59% of their 2 pointers tonight.

Most UW MU games are grind it out ugly affairs.

MU is going to need to shoot it better then Iowa did from 3. Trice is playing out of his friggin mind so far this year.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

I expected Wisky to be better this season. I don't think they are as good as their record indicates at the moment. Still think they are a top 30-45 type team. Trice has to come back down to Earth eventually.

GGGG

Yeah I don't get the idea that we are quicker than UW is.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Iowa is also extremely overrated at this point. They are more of a bubble team than a top 15 team. Bucky's wins is still impressive, but not as impressive as it may seem at the moment.
