Women's game shifted to Fiserv Forum
« on: November 24, 2018, 12:51:45 PM »
We got an Email at 10:30 this morning, informing us Season Ticket Holders, that the MU Women's game has been switched to the FF.....  Gametime is 2:00pm....  There will be General seating....  Only Sect 116-118...
:(  Sorry we're very disappointed and not going...

It's a bit of an inconvenience especially with the late notice, but it's like a mile or two away and there will be plenty of street parking. Can't imagine making a decision to not attend because you have to drive an extra mile to watch the game at a nicer facility.

It sounds like a car crashed into the Al, and made it all the way to the floor. Not entirely sure what other options they have.

This is the 3rd car/bus that has crashed into the Al. Not sure how this keeps happening.

Hopefully, Wojo is using it as a teaching moment, getting his guys to run through walls and be first to the floor.

A student crashed their car through my undergrad alma mater's student center in the 80s. I believe it had happened more than once over the years, but this particular accident precipitated not only removing the on-campus bars but also making it a "dry" campus.

Wow.   Backed up, picked a different line, and kept driving deeper into the building.

I'm thinking totally wasted....probably thought they were in a tunnel. If it got all the way to the floor there is gonna be a lot of damage to fix....dozens of seats at a minimum

The last one was the bus that ran into Johnston Hall earlier this year

That’s gonna be a helluva fine. Mighta gotten away with “just an accident” if it had just blasted straight through the first time, but the backing up and going again shows either intent or serious impairment.

I'm very curious to hear what the driver's BAC was.  It was crazy to watch that video.

Kudos to the Marquette staff for scrambling to find a new location and for the Bucks and Fiserv Forum for allowing the game to be played there shortly before the Bucks game tonight.

That's probably the best seat I'll ever have at the Fiserv Forum :).  They won easily 96-32 today.  Now we wait to see where their game versus UW-Milwaukee will be played on Wednesday night.

Pretty skilled driving for someone who has to be hammered. To be going fast enough to bust in there but slow enough not to total the car on the hallway cement wall and kill himself, then back up, turn right down the hallway and then left down the tunnel, when I would assume there wasn’t some light coming in from the arena showing him/her the way? Well done.

Need to see interior pics of the damage.

Some plucky Marquette Tribune photographer should get on that.

Intoxicated scoop reader who went all Alex Jones and drove through the walls trying to rescue Jamal Cain from Wojo's mind-messing doghouse.

I thought you were anti Barstool? If so, why are you posting BS instagram posts? Cracks me up that when I posted MU student wanted Wojo’s job you jumped on me about the student wasted time and wanting attention. That sounds like most of your posts. Thanks for sharing the Instagram post from Barstool.

I got a text from a friend with the Instagram post.

I’d say a post of a car being lifted off the Al McGuire floor and one of a college kid’s essay asking for Wojo’s job because he could handle it better, but blacking out his own name, are definitely equally attention seeking. Maybe I’ll make a separate thread for it. Good comp as always Goose. You’re right on the money.

You’re welcome for posting. Sorry I hurt your feelings bud. Sad you didn’t share it yourself as you must follow them if you’re so butthurt.
