If they're not very effective before their senior year, most likely they'll have transferred out before then.

True.  I expect they will have solid seasons each of the next two years - both are great prospects.  Just think they could be really good by senior year with additional strength (which will take awhile to acquire.)

Putting 5 lbs of (hopefully) muscle on Elliot's frame is a feat, regardless of how long it took to get there.  He'll never be a banger, so why pump him full of protein shakes to get him to 190 when all it will do is slow him down and probably mess with his natural mechanics?  Might as well keep him as lean and quick as possible so that he can use his length to tip passes, disrupt inbounds plays, etc.

Most likely lost fat gained muscle mass
Muscle weighs more than fat. We need to see their Body Fat %. Can we not exchange our hyperbearic chamber for a BODPOD?

Yes but once you start losing fat you lose it faster than you gain muscle mass. That is why you at first gain some weight while doing exercise.

Listed at 6-9 but just 215 pounds during his only season at Texas, Durant averaged more than 11 rebounds a game. He might turn out to be the best one-and-done ever.

Who else would even be close? I don't think your position is even arguable, he is the best one and done ever in terms of NBA career

Anthony Davis might end up making an argument. He won it all his only year in college and he's only 25 so he still has a chance to get a ring or two. Especially if he gets out of Nola like Durant did OKC

That was my first thought as well. I think Davis is just scratching his potential.

AD was listed as 6'10" and 220 pounds (all unibrow).  Their WHI are both 2.7, the same as Ike.

The way I understand it is that when fat cells start breaking down they fill with water. Water weighs more than fat and that is why you initially gain weight.
Water also weighs more than muscle.
