Jerel McNeal and JimMcIlvaine.   Two well-deserving big macs.  Newly enshrined in the Marquette Athletic Hall of Fame.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Kinda took it for granted when I was a student at the same time Jerel was there, but he is truly one of the all-time MU greats. To be all-time leader in points AND steals is pretty special. Crean's teams underperformed in the post-season, but damn if the 3 Amigos wasn't one of the best classes to come through MU, and one of the most fun to watch. And you have to give them credit for the program not missing a beat with Buzz at the helm their senior year. Probably the best four year class since the Al years.

A bit of a tangent, but Jerel was also a solid human being. I had a couple classes with him and he always took it seriously and showed up and worked hard.

Congrats to Jerel. Well deserved.

One of my favorite memories of Jerel. I remember watching this from my dorm room like it was yesterday:

Former MU star Bob Wolf should be in MU's HOF.  A shame he is not.  If freshman were eligible and the 3 point shot were in play during his time, he probably would be MU's all-time leading scorer.  He was just unfortunately there in the early rebuilding years of Al's era.  Really good shooter from distance.  Shot 45.4% from the floor (with the majority of shots from long ) and averaged 18.3 ppg for his 3 year career.
