Scoop pickup game
« on: May 02, 2018, 09:33:02 PM »
Since it's getting warm out now. I was wondering if some people from scoop wanted to get together and have a day of pick up games in/near Milwaukee sometime this summer. Let me know if there's any interest.

Count 4ever in.  Hes the cat in tube socks and super short shirts.  Drives a grey work van with no windows.

Not much if a shooter, but likes to do a lots of grabbing on defense.

I think work vans are creepier with windows.

My greatest pick up basketball moment was absolutely denying Gary Ellerson at the rim back in the early 90s.  I mean yeah his team went on to wallop ours, but Ellerson was as big a tool then as he is now.  It was quite satisfying.

The great Jerome Lane.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Call me when you set up the scoop golf outing.

I'm in. Just fair warning though I'm pretty worthless unless you need a 3 point shooter or a pretty good undersized rebounder. Only the easy ones though.

If you work near Marquette, there are always good noon hoops pick-up games at the Rec Center on Monday and Wednesday. A day pass is only $6 for alumni.

There are a few students that play but mostly guys in their early 40s and 50s.
