I know, who cares. Took care of Utah by 16 points. Guess they were legit.
Goal is National Championship

I wish I was watching Marquette in MSG this week.

They beat Ohio State three times.  Beat us and Notre Dame on the road.  They were playing good basketball the end of the year.  Carr is a beast.  Pomeroy said they will win the Big Ten next year if Carr comes back.

I guess cats and dogs are going to be best friends from now forward, too, because Penn State sucks at basketball! What is happening in the world.

Go Loyola.

We were their closest win.  So by the associative property of basketball we were the second best team in the NIT

Spaniel with a Short Tail

I saw most of the second half. Was most impressed by the vocal fanbases for both teams. They embraced the tourney for sure. Did not appreciate the Eric Devendorf flashback, though. What a snake.

MU82

I didn't watch any NIT hoops after we made our unceremonious exit, but I was very impressed with how Penn State played against our lads.

I hope Carr comes back (if he determines that is his best option) and the Nittanies kick butt in the Little 14 next season.

NIT Elite 8!

2-1 on our home court!

TheGym

Penn State owns the NIT, 10 wins in a row.  Unfortunately, they have not won an NCAA tournament game since 2001.

Their entire athletic program should've received the death penalty for aiding and protecting a child rapist for more than a decade.

No doubt.  Sandusky State should have been bulldozed.

Yes, MU did make things tight down the stretch, but a couple unforced turnovers derailed the comeback.

Did anyone see the Paint Touches tweet that one 2016 NIT revenue share is worth 1/300th of one 2016 NCAA revenue share? If you ever wondered how much more important the NCAA tourney is than the NIT, we can now quantify it was 300 times more important.

If you think that money is the only way to measure importance.
Have some patience, FFS.

The getting burned on the same ally oop play two times in a row, stretching the lead to 10, was what derailed the comeback

It was both! Plus Hauser playing on a bum hip, he missed a bunch of open threes he cashed all season. Good experience to build on, let's go win 25 games next year.
