A poorly thought out scheme by the B1G.     Stay in your lane and either Indy or Chicago.

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

My own little personal protest: I ain't gonna watch one second of it!

I don't like it either, but I disagree that it was poorly thought out.

It was done for Big10 exposure in the east - NYC, in particular. Hopefully it will flop and be back in the Midwest next year.

The Big1? commish, Delany has said it was a bad idea and won't be repeated. Too many coaches complaints about the compressed schedule when teams played 3 games in 5 days etc. It will return to Chicago and Indy.

I'm sure it was a carrot for Rutgers just like last year's in DC was for MD.

It's already scheduled to alternate between Chicago and Indy the next four years.

If anything, the Big Teen should tell Rutgers thanks for the tv market, now go piss off and remain irrelevant in everything.

I don't think they need to be told. It's what they do.

Everyone at Rutgers is still living by what the late, great Jimmy V told the basketball team:

"Gentlemen, we will be successful this year, if you can focus on three things, and three things only. Your family, your religion and the Green Bay Packers."

Just like others have said, it's what Rutgers does...

So at a minimum the top 4 Big10(ish) teams will have 11 days off (Sunday to the following Thursday) and as much as 13 days off?  the others have 2 weeks plus?

Some of them get picked off in the first round for sure and, if we get to Dayton, that is the conference i want to be up against as a 12 seed.
