Just a reminder that all invoices and final payment plan selections are due tomorrow, August 31.

Only real disappointment is beer prices. Anything over $9 for a craft beer is straight up larceny.
I believe Miller was $9.50 last year the BC.

The Panorama Club upstairs is open to all.
Not true for Marquette games. MU will rent it out. Working on details.

Well that is what they said on the tour:  That it is open to all for no cost and for all games.

I'm sure it was. I got the heads up that Marquette will be renting it out.

We R Final Four

Mr. Nielsen—can you tell me about The West Bend Lofts. Staff didn't seem to know what the situation was there.
Some there thought it was like a general admission for suite ticket holders. Seems strange, but don't have a better explanation. Thank you

Forum has 33 lofts with four to eight seats, I think. All of the lofts have been leased.

The loft leases include tickets to all home Bucks and Marquette games. The seats are available for sale to the public for other events such as concerts.

The lofts are different sales than the suites.

I don't blame the tour guides not to know about it. Has almost nothing to do with Marquette.

I was very anxious to explore the new arena and came away extremely impressed. I upgraded my seats quite a bit this year by simply paying more, unlike previous years when points seemed more important. The Mezzanine Club is a huge upgrade from the Blue & Gold room. I know I am paying more for it, but it seems great.

I know I will get more familiar with the Forum, but it was difficult to get from one level to the next. Seems like you need to go to the east end of the arena to get to stairs/escalators.

I felt like I was in a upscale hotel with the finishes, wood, carpeting, etc.  Panorama Club will be very popular during early non-conference games when MU is blowing out our 300+ RPI opponents.

$11 Coors Light tap beers were surprising, but the Sobelman's burgers seemed like a good deal. Chick-fil-a will be popular for sure.

The BC seemed like a multi-purpose arena while the FF seems like the Buck's stadium. A real lot of Buck's logos, from the artwork, the pro shop and the embroidered seat backs. It now feels like MU will be playing in the Buck's stadium rather than in a stadium that is home to an NBA team.

Marquette locker room is obviously a recruiting tool and was amazing. Well done and should really impress 18-year old recruits. The large back-lit Jordan logo with the pictures of current MU NBA players is genius.

Teh scoreboard and all of the TVs throughout all of the arena is a huge upgrade from the BC. No matter where you are, you will not miss any of the action.

Can't wait for the MU-UW game when all of the Badger fans chins drop to the floor upon seeing how amazing this place is and how lucky MU is to call it home. While other college arenas have more history, none are even close to amenities offered at the Forum.

When is the first game, I am ready!!

After sitting center court in the upper deck of the Bradley Center since graduation, anymore, but a great view. I decided to move down to Section 116 in the Fiserv Forum. Row 22, just 5 seats off the left aisle. Not quite center court

We'll see if I think it's worth the extra money during the season. I sat in several seats upstairs, as well, and could always decide to move back up.

Beyond the sightlines, it'll be nice not having to deal with crowds on the escalator and stairs in the upper level. Really appreciate the wide concourses (should be easier for everyone to get around before and during the game), and the multiple open views from the concourses to the court. Outstanding design in that respect alone.

I also like that my seats are close to Sobelman's. The food there ($10 for a Sobelman's burger and I think $8 for a cheeseburger) might be the best value in the entire arena.
.
I sit in row 11 in 117. The lights were very bright. I hope the reflection off my bald head does not block your view.

That's a bummer but understandable. Was it Gehl that was the sponsor of the big suite by the student section? I could see MU using it like that. Although FF does seem to have many entertaining options on the suite level.

I think your right.
I paid mine in full on August 15th. I believe it was August 31. It should give the date when you log into your Marquette Ticket Account.

It was yesterday, Friday 8/31.  It was extended so fans could see their seats at the Open House per the email they sent.

Check. My credit card on file either expired or I had to cancel because of some fraud.

We had high expectations of the Forum and they were met big time. We are extremely happy with our seats in 119, incl aisle seats... Kinda surprised that "asile"seats are the 1st 2 seats, not just Seat 1.. But not a deal breaker...We had seats in 204 at the BC... Pretty much the same sightlines...Go up 6 stairs and there is  "OUR" bar..BTW, those beers @ $11 are 24oz...  Im pretty sure the $9.50 beers at the BC were 16oz.. Good options to eat near our seats..We walk about 20 ft and there are the rest rooms..We are pretty happy and love the FF already. We cannot wait for the season to start.

source?

I'm much more on-board with $11 for a 24 oz beer. $4 is pretty normal for a 12 oz in Milwaukee, so the extra $1.50 seems like a pretty reasonable markup.

MU gimp ONE

pretty sure the $9.50 was for 20oz last year.  If they did in fact increase the size to 24, that's a little easier to understand.  If it's $11 for the same size, it's robbery.  Especially after Arthur Blank showed you can run a facility with cheap food and drink.

GOO

I think they were 24 oz last year at the BC.

But if they will be 24 oz at the FF for $11, I'm on board with that as well.

That's correct. They said on Twitter that $6 12 oz pours will be available, which is I think only a $.50 increase from the BC.

Marcus92

You can get a 30-pack (360 oz.) of Coors Light for about $20. If a 20 oz. glass of the exact same beer goes for $10 at the Fiserv Forum, you'd have to pay $180 to get the same amount. That's a 9x arena premium. Outrageous. Would anyone pay $45 dollars for ice cream at a game? Or $70 for a Sobelman's Burger?

I like beer. Quite a lot. But I don't like it that much.

Marcus92

I realize it's not quite accurate comparing liquor store prices for beer to bar/arena prices. But the cost of a Sobelman's burger is the same at Sobelman's as it is at Fiserv Forum. Beer should be no different.

The Journal Sentinel reported today that it's $11 for a 20 oz Coors/Miller Lite.

Hard pass.

guess i'm saving quite a bit of money this year on beverages.  that will help offset the big increase from upgrading my seats.
