They really slammed the corners.  If I want to keep my equivalent lower corner seats .. it's now $2000 .. which is up $560 / a huge 38% increase.

Not going to do that.

I'm not sure I'm see what your seeing. I don't see any corner that is $2000.

Got it!

The light blue corners of the price map of the Bradley Center, might be more of the dark greens light green of the new arena.

So, for a recent grad to sit in sections 214-216 it costs $150 per ticket and to sit in the mirror sections (228,201-202) not as a recent alum it costs $125 a ticket?

But FREE BEER!!!!

(well, $25 for the season)

I find it interesting that .. the 6 center sections at the Bradley Center were $1320, from row A-Z.

Now, say you're sitting in row O in those same sections at the Chaluparena.. woo-hoo, they're going down to $1100.

I imagine some people will demote themselves back a few rows to save $520x2, as the drop is from $1620 down to $1100 in those 6 sections.  That's kinda odd.

I was going to answer your question...

But someone else had already answered it...

Hope that helps  :)

To me, there is great value, but again, I assumed more people preferred to be in the center of the row...what's even more odd, is the ONLY aisle seats that seemingly are more, are seats 1&2 if I am reading that correctly?? Why not 20 & 21 on the other end?? Is it because 1&2 are always going to be closer to center court??

Aisle seats can be a crap-shoot.  We've had them a few times, including last year, and the people in my row must have had bladders the size of acorns.  There were a few games that I got up 20+ times to let people out, like every time out.

The longer rows at the Chaluparena will be worse.

I would guess by aisle they mean the first two seats are aisle seats, but if you get 4 only the first two count as aisles.

Generally it's $30-80 for aisles, so $1.50-4 per game. Seems pretty nominal if you consider it to have great value.

Didn't I read with the new set up and being able to see the game from the concourse, that you wouldn't be able to access the aisle during gameplay?

I was paying $1000 per season ticket last year for row G even with the baseline. I looks like this would be about even with the line between premium blue and mid-level sideline sections, either $2250 or $1620 per ticket. Either a 125% or 62% increase. That is not going to happen.

Maybe the on-campus arena will finally get it right and install catheters with every seat.

If there are 25 seats in a row. Seats 25 & 24 are the aisle.

Looking at the maps from the BC & WESC. You were in the purple. You would need to look at the purple of the new arena. So, it's $300 more.

I am quite pleased with the minimal increases.  And, with having my spouse now working at MU...

I am now able to take advantage of:
1) not paying the Mandatory Seat Donation, and
2) getting a 33% discount off the Seat Price.

(This is almost as good as the free tuition for my kids down the road!)  8-)

My seats went from $720 per all in to $760 per all in.  All I get in return is a better schedule, a better team and supposedly a better arena (BC 4 LIFE!!) This is a travesty! Who do I blame?  I'm assuming the extra $40 is a service charge to make good on Tom Crean welching on his $100,000 donation to Valley Fields.  I knew that guy would cost me money.

Me thinks they have a 3 year plan with the raises, eventually we will get to to a 50% bump, at least I'm planning on that. They probably have a first vs second vs third weekend exit bump planned for this year. They did a good job keeping everyone in the fold this year though, haven't seen many complaints around. Doing a lot of winning will pad another big increase next year.

If they start winning again, and start having a true home court advantage..i don't think anyone would care that much about an increase..i wouldnt i know that.
