Where is everyone's go to bar for Marquette games in Milwaukee? Looking for somewhere that will play the sound of the game no questions asked. I used to go to Upper 90 right near the BC but since they rebranded the Bucks are clearly the priority there. Hoping to watch the Butler game tomorrow downtown with some fans.

Thanks!

Not quite downtown, but Red Lion has game watching parties with sound upstairs.

Most places downtown will have the game on before the Bucks game, but sound is iffy.

Maybe I'll try Red Lion. I work not too far from there. Appreciate it.

Annex would have been my backup plan but looking for somewhere new.

I go to hooligans on north Ave often.  Not an MU bar, but great food and bartender

Replay doesn?t exist anymore. It was Rosatis for a short time and that closed.

Upper 90 is now a Point Burger Bar. The Point Burger bar is a big upgrade from Upper 90 in terms of watching games. Tons of TVs and better seating arrangement.

My 9 year old and I will be at Hooligan's.  I'll push for sound.

Annex is such a gamble.  It's like DePaul, tremendous potential.

Major Goolsby's - MU at Providence, no sound and disappointingly low # of tv's w/ MU game on.  Music was played instead.  Disappointing.

Bluemound Gardens isn't open anymore either.  It's now an international boarding school.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

And it was awful when it was open.

Talk to the owner Mark, he's a great guy and should accommodate you unless the Badgers are on at the same time.

This point makes me sad. One of the best atmospheres before the home games. Inexcusable

if matty's does have the game on(with sound) great pub food!  i'd call ahead to ask, but wouldn't be surprised if he had MU on

Why a gamble?they don?t take reservations?

I like Cafe Benelux or Hollander ... I need at least 3 Bofferding beers to calm the nerves down.

Why a gamble?they don?t take reservations?

1) it could be dead, and no atmosphere
2) student managed and staffed, very hit or miss service
3) very average food

I?ve never been to a bar in Milwaukee that really had a great marquette atmosphere. I?ve been to alumni bars in Boston, and Chicago and thought the atmosphere was a lot better.
