1.   Apparently, that 'compete, compete, compete' huddle worked.
2.  Did you see the future tonight?    Do you have hope?
3.   Rowsey was bad.   Oops.   Hopefully, his ankle isn't too bad.     He will be better.
4.  Harry, you made a shot.   It does not mean shoot every time.  Ah, well.  Love the fearlessness.
5.  Markus.... Big East player of the week.
6.  MU covered.    And made Nova work.
7.  Loved the line up at the end.
8.  No shame in this game.  Nova is #3 in the country.  (though I am sure Lenny will say they are overrated)   MU showed up, worked their asses off, the freshmen competed at a high level and gave Nova a hell of a game despite not getting anything from Rowsey.   The team played without fear in the second half.    I cannot ask for more.
9.  I am optimistic for the future.

Start the underclassmen next game.  Great effort for the small ball line up.

100 points given up.  Wow

DJO's Jaw

Really encouraged how we played in the second half. The defense felt like much less of a revolving door with only one player under 6 feet.

chapman

That was the hardest game on our schedule.  We hung with them with lineups of two freshmen and three sophomores.  It was a two possession game with 20 seconds left.  I declare a moral victory.

Greg Elliott looked like a Big East guard if I ever saw one.

Also, good officiating crew.  It was refreshing to see a game called well.

As for #3, that was an ego injury all the way. We need Rowsey to show up every night. That will be the difference between an NCAA Tournament or not.

Other than that, I'm encouraged. We competed hard. I'm convinced Nova is the best team in the country.

So you should have taken the 'over'.     Nova's offense versus MU's defense with lots of fouls in the last minute.   Meh.

Mr. Sand-Knit

Would like to see Rowseys +/- for that game.  Make the move of sacar or elliot onto Brunson earlier and we may have won.  Coaches make mistakes and Wojo ever thinking Rowsey could guard him was a big one.

It's a shame Rowsey had a sh*tty game but the team played its ass off. Markus is ridiculous.

I just really like this team even though we'll probably be on the bubble.

Tough one on Tuesday that we need. Hopefully we can manage a decent crowd on a Tuesday in early January. The casual fan probably doesn't realize how good Seton Hall is and the students aren't back.

Future looks really good.

If Froling was as talented as some made him out to be, MU would be in decent shape.

Instead, the guy looks like he would struggle to get minutes at UWM.

He gives MU nothing other than another body to use up fouls.

He has to guard somebody.   When isn't it a mismatch when Rowsey guards someone?   Brunson, Bridges, DiVincenso, Cartwright.    Do the math.   And that is one of, but not the only, reason for MU's defensive deficiencies.

My God do you suck.

Great D from the FROSH. Howard is the real deal scoring at will against a superior defense. 2nd half was the best played D this year. The potential is clearly there.

Sacar looking good today.
Brunson is real good.

10.  Who was that AndyReid $ss and what is his Scoop name?  i figured out the game chat ignore function way too late in the game.

Agree on all points tower - we showed a lot of fight and flashes that show what the next couple of years will be like.  Infuriating D but enough to keep it interesting.

Rebounds very well and is willing to hit somebody running down the lane unlike anybody else on this team.

It is absolutely not that simple.

Herman Cain

Greg Elliot played very well. He is my favorite player on the team.

If Elliott gains any point guard skills, he will be awesome.  Fantastic defense skills, long arms. Best game of year.

Was imagining next year when lineup was Howard, Elliott, Hauser, Cain and Froling.  With Morrow, nice.

Need something from center spot.  Heldt has 8 points (6 of which in Prov) and 14 fouls in four BE games.

Bilas prediction of Harry being, well, a difference maker.

Needed all three of Howard, Hauser and Rowsey, but Rowsey didn't have it tonight

Like Seton Hall losing everyone, Nova will lose Bridges and Brunson.  Two outstanding players.

Thank goodness Markus is only 5ft 11.  If he was 6ft 3, he be gone next year.  Yes, he took 27 shots, but just wow......

Completely agree about the officiating compared to the dumpster fire we're usually subjected to.

Markus Howard is very close to becoming must see TV for me. IMO, we were never in the game and 'Nova went through the motions, but I watched every second to see what Howard would do.

Howard is a joy to watch and scoring at historic clip. He reminds me of Chris Jackson, because his ability to score in bunches like few have done. In addition, he made route tonight ultimately look respectable.

Three weeks ago I would have said zero chance he leaves early. If he continues anywhere near this clip, he very possibly could be playing for money next year.

Sad little troll.  How'd the UW-Rutgers game go?

A few of the shots were desperation chucks the last couple when it was over

He was very efficient for most of the game as well

He's crazy
