I don't think XFLII would work but if it did:

-let the wide receiver get a running start like the Canadian League.
-Make a catch a catch.  No more NFL crazy catch rules.
-Hot cheerleaders (Think The Replacements).
-Live looks inside the Huddle.  "Catch the ball.  Catch the ball."  "Tackle him.  Tackle him."
-Incorporate sports betting into the game watching experience.  XFL/DraftKings app would let you place bets from your couch.  (Hell, use bitcoins)
-No suspensions for weed.
-Get streaming from Netflix/Amazon/etc.  Exclusive streaming.  Get a money bags like Bezos on this, it will be profitable.
-Follow Johnny Manziel around for a week while drinking, run the tape at high speed and have an old ragtime piano tune playing.

Hell... why not just launch the league in Fresno, Spokane, Colorado Springs and Reno and make game-time THC-levels mandatory.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Screw that. Doesn't go far enough.

Make all incompletions catches! Imagine how many points will be scored!! Fans love offense, right?

The Bears would be relegated.
Unless Sultan says differently that is, then we’d obviously have to go with that....

Rumors that Vince McMahon wants to reboot the XFL are officially more than just rumors.

Today the WWE revealed to the Securities and Exchange Commission that McMahon has sold about $100 million worth of stock, and that he did so “primarily to fund a separate entity from the Company, Alpha Entertainment LLC, which Mr. McMahon established to explore investment opportunities across the sports and entertainment landscapes, including professional football.”

I wonder if the players will be independent contractors, too.

I think you will see something like this come back.  Would also not be shocked to see Trump involved.  He was adamant about tax breaks being included in the deal that focused on sports franchises.  A weirdly specific inclusion, and with his attacks on the NFL and ties to McMahon, would not be surprised to see a new competitor in the football sector.

With two dirtbags like that involved, it has no chance to end up anywhere other than court.

Financial irregularities, concussion issues, medical insurance issues similar to wrestling, etc. The list could go on and on.

With no rights to independent contracting.

Gonna be honest, the XFL has a bunch of atypical names which I can appreciate. Dragons, Roughnecks, Battlehawks, and Vipers are all awesome. Renegades is even good. But I just saw an article today about Landry Jones being the face of the league which is kind of hilarious

The 25 second play clock is great. At 2 minutes, a team can’t kneel down four times to close out a game. Pace of play is significantly better than the NFL.

I like the kickoff too, should cut down on unnecessary violent collisions.
