Wow!! First MU player with 90 points in a 3 game stretch?! Ever!

Markus

Marcus. And he's only 18.
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.

Dr. Blackheart

Only Marquette player ever to hit 90+ points over a three game span.  Markus

NickelDimer

M2N has added a deadly drive and score ability to his game. He's really good. He could get his shot anytime he wanted to tonight

Shut the thread down.

Markus.
Have some patience, FFS.

Class71

Marcus but kudos to Rousey for assists and generally playing in control with fewer turnovers. We need more of  this from Andrew as the season progresses.

Can't think of a stretch of games where these have been such total and complete no-brainers.

Marcus. And he's only 18.

Wait - that means he was only 17 last year?!?!  How has this been overlooked??

fjm

Markus for shiz!!!

But hey, how about Rowsey!? Totally unselfish, picked GOOD shots, big plays from him. That's the Rowsey that is solid!

Rowsey Honorable Mention for playing under control and nice double double

You know it's a good night when Sam's 17/6/4 on 7-10 shooting and Rowsey's 10 assists can be so easily passed over for SOTG. Lots of positives tonight, and another huge yuuuge game from Howard. This was fun to watch. I would suggest we do this more often.

Shout out to a Rowsey for an efficient and solid performance to silence the haters (for now)

Honorable mention to Sammy Splash for his loud 17/6/4 slash with 0 TOs.

Markus - already bummed out that he's gone in 2 and a half years (*furiously knocking on wood he doesn't talk to the same Sodexo workers as Vander*)

Loved what I saw from Jamal tonight too.  He finished strong on multiple occasions, had that awesome block on Lamb to end the first half, grabbed some big boards, and played some nice D when called upon.  He and Elliott just keep making strides.

Not to mention Theo looked capable on the offensive end for a short stint.

Absolutely.  Had that great low post move for a layup, rolled and Rowsey found him for a slam, and a very rare hook shot.
Some of that offense and not fouling on defense every single possession is about all I can hope for out of Theo in year 1.

It was great to see these flashes from Theo tonight. Maybe it's all finally clicking and we'll see more of this. Maybe there's some added pressure to perform with Froling coming in soon. Whatever the case, let's hope this is the Theo we get in conference play.
