7/9/6 is a respectable stat line for just about anyone in college basketball.  And this team especially needs rebounding and ball distribution.

I was thinking the same thing.  Honestly it could be when they won the 2012-13 Great West Conference tournament.  Or maybe it was from something they did when he was at UIC.  I don't think any of the teams he was an assistant with did anything of note.

One of the middle-school girls I coached was by far the best 3-point shooter in our league. Not even close. She hit 10 as a 6th-grader, 10 as a 7th-grader and 9 as an 8th-grader (when she was asked to play PG and to drive more).

So, for being even better than a 6th-grade girl ...

It was only Chicago State, but if this was the game that got Markus rolling again, it was a very big game. Season pctg back over 40% despite his rough first few games.

Given that plenty of people here were less than impressed with Rowsey's 30/4/5 performance against LSU, I've got to think that if he had Eliott's stat line from last night, there would be some very unhappy Scoopers.

I seem to recall Vander putting up more than a few games in the 5-10 point / 5-9 board / 4-6 assist range with high end defense his frosh & soph years and several people here would claim that he sucked because his jumper looked broke.
