I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Political free board, plz leave your clever quips in your clever mind.

Heldt. Rowsey was great, but Matt was just as important on the defensive end, blocking shots, getting boards, defending pick & roll and screens, and doing it without fouling. He set the defensive tone that allowed us to build the big lead.

MH's PNR defense still needs A LOT of work. Improved, but that is about all.

DJO's Jaw

I'd say Rowsey (obvious reasons) with Heldt as an honorable mention. While his P&R defense still needs some work, overall Matt played well on defense. He did a good job affecting shots that got to the rim and really seemed comfortable on the offensive end.

After years of Luke and Davante, it looked pretty studly  ;D

Indeed.
As a well known poster once said......
Heldt>Fisher.

Haanif had a good game as well.  BTW, the refs were in mid-season form.  Rewarding clear flopping.

jsglow

Haani and Sacar both played well with the regular lineup.  Neither played well with the Frosh (or didn't get enough help.)

bilsu

Rowsey makes rest of team better. He puts a lot of pressure on the opposing team's defense.

DCHoopster

No point guard at the end, it showed.  Elliott has to become more aggressive.  What is good about this team, is that having a short bench, they will get to play alot.

I loved that little free throw line entry pass to Sam drawing in the D and resulting in an immediate return pass for the 3.

...Heldt needs to be recognized for doing a good job at center.

But rowsey
