Will hire agent. He gone.

Too bad for Creighton.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Like most, he needs a ton of work, too.

I mean, Luke totally schooled him in the first meeting and played him no worst than even the second time. Patton just might find slightly more difficult competition in the Association.

What else does Creighton have coming back? Between Watson and Patton that's gotta be a pretty gutted team.

Patton is a big loss, but they do return Hegner, along with two role-players in Hanson and Krampelj. They've got Epperson too, though I'm not sure he'll play much this year.

As far as Watson, they replace him with Syracuse transfer Kaleb Joseph, who was top-50 coming out of high school but never settled in with the Orange.

They also have Foster, Thomas, Harrell, and Mintz returning. They'll be okay, but I felt with Patton they were a top-10 team. Now, knock them down a few notches.

Without looking, I do think they have a couple impact transfers who sat out this year and IIRC, one of them is a center.

Can't imagine Creighton envisioned this when they red shirted Patton as a freshman.

I couldn't agree more. Seems to have a nice game and good athleticism, but is nowhere near ready. His defensive abilities or, rather, the lack thereof, would have fit in well with us this year.

Stinks for the Big East and Creighton. It would have been a shock if he stayed. Weird, that Creighton red-shirted him in 2015-16

Yeah, the redshirt helped Patton.  CU?  Not so much.

MU kicked their ass twice with him. Next year thrice. Not a NBA playa.

If he develops a mid range/ face up game i think he could last a little while. I see him going late first or early second

Foster didn't lead the BE in scoring.

He did and harrel n khyri thomas are really good.  Hegner is ok a poor mans wragge.  They will be a solid team next year, ncaa possibilities if the transfers are legit.  Foster will be first team all BE, and we had no one that could stop thomas or harrell.  Thats not nevessarily saying alot but hose three are really hard to guard and athletic.
However, as they showed this year, without Patton they are really weak in the middle. Prolly andouble digit seed tho if the transfers are at least adequate

Patton leaving hurts Creighton, but its also good for the BE and Creighton (long-term).  The more NBA players the new incarnation of the Big East can get, the better.  It's also really good for parity.

I like our position moving into next year.  We have a strong core coming back, and, by all appearances, will be adding some veteran leadership very soon.

And like Henry, he can console himself by rolling around in stacks of benjamins.

No, he didn't.

FFS, he was .5 from Hart overall and .2 from Hart in conference. They both scored 18 points a game if you go without fractions.

There's plenty to be a dick about but harping on this is petty. Not surprising though.

So you're saying...he didn't lead the BE in scoring?  Thanks, we agree.
