Gotta go with the Jesuits.      Go Zags.

Had UNC over Zags in my brackets. For personal reasons, I'd like that outcome. If UNC loses, I will cheer for the Zags.

Lower seed, so I'll go with the green and yellows.

Zags cause they are a  Jesuit school, then USC, Baylor, UNC. I am really hating on bluebloods lately. Thinking about it now Baylor can suck it too, cheating rapists

Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Someone should tell him...

I'm starting to wonder if he thinks these guys are still in too.

Gonzaga!

a small private school, that doesn't have a football program, wins two years in a row.  can you think of anything better?

Marquette being that team. (And technically Nova has football, just FCS. Brian Westbrook probably their most famous pro.)

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Go Jesuits//Catholics
Won't be with the Ducks
How soon we have forgotten the sliminess that went on there 3/4 years ago
(Know what is coming, some of u are privy to similar sliminess at MU of which I remain blissfully ignorant of most details.  It happens elsewhere, including at MU, does absolutely nothing for me.  So let's not go there)

Galway Eagle

Gotta be Gonzaga not because they're small and catholic or Jesuit but because when Buzz left that guy at CBS published a story how he had done the math and decided it was almost impossible for a small private school to get to the final four or win a championship. If two small private schools won back to back it'd be a great F you to his "analysis"
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

I'm going to bring up something.  But don't talk about it.  Because this thing I brought up doesn't interest me.

Agree but given this years final 4, Gonzaga is that team.  I'd rather have South Carolina over UNC (systemic academic fraud still un addressed by either NCAA or ACC, plus ESPN bj post championship) or Oregon (so much booster $'s if they don't win we're left asking "how are they different than Okla St.?").  But South Carolina is still in the SEC and I'm a non SEC fan for a host of reasons.

also - Nova is a basketball first university.  they have an FCS team but they would not be in the BEast if they made athletic decisions based on anything other than basketball

Herman Cain

Would like to see the Cocks and The Heels in the final game. With Cocks winning it all.

Gonzaga winning would also make it 3 of the last 4 years that a non-football 5 team won the national championship.
