We need BEEF

Balance. Eyes. Elbow. Follow-through.

Yep, every good shooter needs to use the BEEF technique.

I'll wait to see the final roster. With 2 open scholarships, chances are we add at least 1 more player — most likely a grad transfer. I expect we'll hear in the next month (Katin's commitment was announced on April 9 last year).

5 starters, sure  (Matt Heldt, seriously?) - but we do lose three guys who were among our top 5 in minutes per game.

Matt was dismal against SC, just dismal.

I think we improve, mostly on defense, and sone on offense.  If we get a PG Grad Transfer with some height (6-5) then a much more improvement.

If MU improves on Offense I will be surprised, they operated at a pretty high level this year. If they can improve on defense and give just a little ground on offense they will be better to significantly better. I would like to see a PF grad transfer, I think 1-3 positions will be well staffed next year but 4 and 5 positions could use a little help.

are there any transfers or grad transfers we know of right now?

One thing will help our offense is cutting down on turn overs, we need better decision making and ball handling. Matt was completely lost in that game. I have a good feeling for next year with our bigs coming in and the confidence that we made the tourney this year.

(but I think Happ should go pro if he gets a 1st round grade).

While he is a pretty good college player, would be surprised if he'd be drafted next year, particularly in a strong draft. Let's see how he does when he's the unquestioned target of opponent's scouting reports. Wouldn't put it past King to be one of their better options next year. Fair bit better than Koenig as a HS player.

I don't know his intentions, But I have my eye on Anthony Dailer
  Yale PG  6-6 and 190.

Have no idea what interests on either side.

Will he be a grad transfer?  I'll do some digging but he was great for Yale.  The following year Yale's Makai Mason becomes available.  He missed this season due to injury with a medical redshirt and Ivy rules prevent him from playing in his 5th year.  He was the hero for Yale in the 2016 NCAA Tourney.

According to ESPN Dailler played in four seasons.  Did he get an exemption of some sort?

I don't know much about Dailer, but a 6-6 point guard would be a huge boon to this team.  On offense, Rowsey and Howard could play more off the ball which is more natural for them, especially MH.  On D we get more length at guard, which will mitigate the struggles of AR and MH to guard one on one.

No. I have no idea why people think Dallier will be playing next season. His eligibility is exhausted. Also, wouldn't be the near the top of my to get list if he were somehow granted an additional year.
