Okay folks.  Don't think it's been publicly announced yet so here's the SCOOP for you scoopers.  Chick and I will be hosting the OFFICIAL downtown MU game watching party in Milwaukee at:

Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub
1203 N. 10th Street
http://www.jacksonsmke.com/

Hope to see all you local Warriors there.

(No, we can't get you free PBR.)

Sir Lawrence

Nice place, and thank you for setting it up.  Chick will be able to get her Lenten Friday fish fry.  Keep the faith.
Ludum habemus.

4everwarriors

Gonna park on 6th and Brown for free parkin' and easy freeway access home, ai na?
"Give 'Em Hell, Al"

Goose

Thanks for setting it up. Sounds like a good place for the game.

Just to be clear fellas.  Marquette set this up.  They simply asked the best looking Warrior fan (and her sidekick) to host on their behalf.  All the important peeps are heading to Greenville.

I'd love to, but I just got placed on a trip to Montana for the weekend :/

Appreciate it though.

No to all 3 questions to the best of my knowledge although lets wait until the formal announcement to confirm.  Appreciate that MU pulled out all the stops simply to get venues on St. Paddy's Day.  They've held numerous events at Jackson's previously so I'm sure that helped.

Yep!  I found this picture I took on Facebook the last time I was there:

Too bad the Christmas tree is gone.

Have some patience, FFS.

Oldgym

Scouted this place Saturday night. 9 or 10 TVs well placed, pretty good food, good tap selection.  It was relatively quiet, but I asked about Friday night and the wait staff said they were planning for a VERY busy night. Street parking will be tough to nonexistent. Use the structure a block east.

Hey this is one of the places I was thinking of going fridays. This, the schoolyard, or something close to real chili.

Come on over! That way I can make sure that you you aren't following MUFINY's stupid dating advice.

Awesome! I'll do my best to make it. Really appreciate you posting this!

Hmm. With all these game watching parties going on I wonder if there is a way to "Skype" them all for one big celebration? At least the larger groups.

That'd be kind of a cool alumni association concept they could do on Gomarquette or even if the actual Television channel did it.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

That sounds fun, I usually do the Annex for the tourney. Anyone going there?

Moral conundrum.    If offered an overtime slot, which will net me nearly $400, do I take it and risk being on alarms the whole time and missing the game live.      I will of course be taping...errrrr.....DVR-ing it.     So, if you were offered a substantial amount of money to possibly NOT watch the game live, would you take it?

I would take the $$$.  If you miss the game live, do everything you can to avoid any news leak and then watch the game on DVR asap--it will be like watching live if you don't know the outcome.  Not easy to avoid spoilers, but if it's blown at least you get a good payday!

I'm not putting in for overtime at all this weekend. Maybe next weekend if we aren't playing.

I had to watch the Davidson game on delay and managed to avoid spoilers.

I was so upset towards the end I skip-advanced right through Vander's winning shot.

We might be at Annex. Watched the S16 win over Miami there and had a very good time.

ChitownSpaceForRent

Will be there in spirit.

Do a shot of rail tequila for me. Eh, Glow and chick?  ;)

You better be coming to our shindig, brew.  I am looking forward to accidentally spilling beer on that Al McGuire sport coat when we win.

Been debating it all day. Never enjoyed going out on St Patty's, one of those days, like New Year's, that's always amateur hour. We'll see...
