  • Location sucks, but I like the SC matchup. Duke, not so much. Guard your ankles, boys.
  • Providence v USC again?
  • If we beat SC and Duke, our reward is two more at MSG? FML.
  • Gonzaga and St Mary's being in the same region is BS. Seriously, BS.
  • Vanderbilt avoiding Dayton? Sure. A 9-seed? WTF?
  • Milwaukee gets all 4s and 5s. Uhh...yay?
  • MSU a 9? Uhh...
  • Conference tournaments matter? Vanderbilt, K State, Duke (4 to 2)?
  • Conference tournaments don't matter? Wisconsin, Purdue, Duke (Not a 1)?
  • There won't be a 16/1 upset, but if there is, my money is on UNC-Central, if they escape Dayton.
  • UNC, Kentucky, UCLA in the same bracket? That should be fun (Go Butler).
  • Wichita State a 10?!? Is that to save Gonzaga from seeing them again? Should've been a 6.

Nice recap.

One additional thought:  Minnesota a 5 while Wisconsin gets an 8?  Beyond bizarre.  Yet, nice to see, for once, Wisconsin gets hose bagged with a seeding and doesn't get to play in own backyard as is usually the case.

GGGG

Regarding Milwaukee and the 4s and 5s, someone did a mock selection and predicted both butler and Purdue in Milwaukee despite the Indianapolis location.  Because they were seeded higher, Kentucky and Louisville got first dibs on that location.

I don't see what the big deal is regarding Gonzaga and St. Mary's.  They would meet in the Elite 8.

My darkhorse:  SMU.

brewcity77

If you only have 2 teams from a conference, put them in different regions. It's not like trying to balance ACC or Big East teams.

nyg

UNC, Kentucky and UCLA in South.  Thats a bracket.....

Mr. Nielsen

USC was the last team in. Providence fell to the opening round after the URI win.

Cincinnati and SMU #6 seeds. AAC is getting nailed on the seed line every year. Thank god the C7 left.

Milwaukee site is awesome. No 1-16 or 2-15 match-ups. All double digits seeds won their regular season of their league and have great crowds.

Jerry Palm got 68/68.

ESPN is having a cry fest over Syracuse.
If we are all thinking alike, we're not thinking at all. It's OK to disagree. Just don't be disagreeable.

GGGG

A ton of brackets got the entire field correct.  There was no deviation from the final Bracket Matrix and it looks like 2/3 of the brackets had 68/68.

Seeding on the other hand...

Does Reinhardt become first guy to be in tourney with 3 teams?

STM won't get passed Zona, so will not matter.

Thought I read somewhere that he is the second person to do it.

Man, all the talking heads are big time bullish on Rhode Island, and picking them over Creighton and potentially Oregon.

Nobody is talking about MU.  Other than Barkley saying he likes us a sleeper.  Haven't heard one guy on CBS Sports Network or ESPN so much as mention anything about MU.

Ask Oregon if conference tournaments matter? They lost a stud for the NCAA. Lonzo Ball  messed up his wrist and Ryan Leaf hurt his ankle for UCLA. The league tourneys are a crapshoot.

Agree, STM will get drilled by Zona

It always seems to work out for the best when we fly under the radar.

Let them continue to talk about everyone else. We will just do our thing.
Have some patience, FFS.

Ryan Leaf wouldn't be of much use to them anyways :)

South Dakota state will beat gonzaga

EaglesNest

How Wisconsin got an 8 when Minnesota got a 5, maryland got a 6, and Northwestern got an 8 is unbelievable.

I actually think Wisconsin matches up really well against Villanova in a second round game.

Nova has a very tough potential road with Wisconsin, Florida, and Duke if you go by the highest seeds in each round.

Maybe if Gonzaga's plane crashes on the way to the arena. Otherwise I don't see it.

Badgers got hosed which means Nova got hosed. Go Buzz.

If I have tickets for Milwaukee, I'm pumped. Avoid the 1 and 2 seed sleepers like Panther mentioned.

rocket surgeon

bucky reeks last 10 games-go buzz

gophers a 5??  keeping the 5/12 curse alive and well-at least the coffee won't get cold

wichita state-don't shed any tears here-kentucky is the most beatable 2

rhode island? everyone's fav sleeper? then why 11 seed?  if they were located anywhere but out east-snore

careful of smu-they will be in the sweet 16 and shouldn't be a surprise

ucla's sleep walkin to the final 4, oh, lavar meet timothy-good thing lonz is real good...and playin da point...phew!

Maybe not, but FWIW St Mary's would be favored by Pomeroy. Landale is tough. I expect I'll pick Zona, but it's entirely possible St Mary's could get through. Put them in any other region and it's not even a talking point, so why do it?

manny31

MSU#9? ....Most years I wouldn't argue but this year I just don't think they deserve it. I could be wrong but the Big? is crap this year...
