Crean has been struggling lately, but as far as ruining the IU program - I'm pretty sure Mike Davis took care of that a decade ago....

At least Davis got IU to the NCAA title game, but yes, he certainly contributed to the ruination of the program. The No. 1 culprit, however, was none other than Robert Montgomery Knight, whose pattern of abuse led to a serious decline in the number of great athletes who actually wanted to play basketball at the school.

In his last 6 seasons at Indiana, Knight won a total of 2 postseason games. Indiana hasn't been a true "blueblood" for two decades now.

So you are saying they cheated in '74 when they beat us?

They were banned from the 1973 tournament for recruiting violations surrounding David Thompson.

Crean should go to a new school, begin a fresh chapter in his career.  If Archie Miller leaves Dayton, he would thrive there.  No need to go to another big state school.
