I have been a critic of JJJ's, but, at least for tonight, it looked like he got Wojo's message.  Hustled back on defense, hustled to recover when he didn't convert jumping a couple passes (neither of which I thought were bad decisions/attempts), kicked it out when they closed his driving lanes, and didn't force things offensively.

Well done.  We need that kind of game.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Anti-Dentite

Hopefully he will finish up like last year, he was bringing it tonight.
You know the difference between a dentist and a sadist, don't you? Newer magazines.

I agree. JJ played well tonight.

He did still get one of his classic moves - stand on the baseline bitching at the ref after getting stuffed while the rest of the players are running down the court, leading to a WIDE open 3. Thankfully they missed it, and the game was already out of hand. 1 of those per game is fine, but he's usually good for a bunch. So improvement!

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Looked good, looked physical. The jam was sweet music, and he had a nice dish ( I think to MH).

Woo got after him for that. I thought he played smart. There were a few times I thought he was going to pull the trigger on a three, but instead drove to the hoop (without traveling) and made good decisions. He played in control tonight.

Happy for JJJ and proud of him. When he plays like he did tonight - aggressive but in control, looking both for his own opportunities and for his teammates - he is a lot of fun to watch.

So yes, shoutout to JJJ.

Also, shoutout to Wojo. That's some serious coaching.

Agreed.  Great focus and effort.

He was locked in tonight. Can't remember any dumb plays he made tonight

JJJ was the second play in SVP's opening segment tonight.

JJJ is the last of a dying breed.
What dying breed is that?
A Buzz recruit to MU?

If that is it, then yes their collective days are limited.  ;)

He is athletic, but he is not near Wade in athleticism.

Someone will need to inform Jamal Cain.  Either he needs to reduce his athleticism or transfer elsewhere.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

When he is locked in and in attack mode he adds another dimension for us that makes us very tough to stop.  HC and to some extent Duane have shown flashes of it but JJJ does it the best.

No doubt. When JJJ is dialed in, he can change the game in bursts. IMO he is needed to be dialed in and on the court moving forward.
