As of today, the Big East includes 3 of the top 5 teams in the country in eFG%:

2. Creighton (60.1%)
3. Villanova (59.0%)
5. Marquette (57.9%)

And 4 of the top 16 teams in adjusted offensive efficiency according to KenPom:

3. Villanova (123.2)
7. Marquette (121.1)
11. Creighton (120.4)
16. Butler (118.4)

Meanwhile, Villanova is the only Big East team ranked in the top 25 for adjusted defensive efficiency. Georgetown owns the highest team ranking in defensive eFG% at 49th (46.8%).

So is this the future of the conference? Will the Big East be known for high-powered offense rather than physical defensive play?
