The ladies stole one against #19 DePaul with a clutch shot to tie it and fonce OT.

In a fun note, both the men's and ladies won their games with 102 points on the board.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

It's the first time in 25 years two Big East WBB teams both scored more than 100 points in a game.
Have some patience, FFS.

It was super impressive. This ladies team is a very exciting team to watch.

They are going to be good for awhile.  All of their starters are freshmen and sophomores, and they have already lined up some amazing recruits for next year. And there's none of the angst about whether or not any of them are going to leave early for the draft.    ;D

Women's games tend to be a little lower scoring so 102-101 is an outrageous final score.  Wow.

Shame that in women's basketball being good essentially equates to only losing to UConn by 20 as opposed to 60. Wish that there was at least another squad that would challenge them
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

The scoring was hot and heavy from the beginning. It started to look like DePaul might blow Marquette out of the water after the first half. It was a genuinely intense game to watch and came down to the last shot...twice.

I was super impressed with Blockton. She seemed to will a few baskets late in the game.

Schulte on DePaul was also going bonkers and dropped 35 on the night. Definitely at matchup to watch again when they head up to MKE for a rematch.

MUWBB win their first round game against georgetown tonight. At home in the tourney. Would be great to get both teams to the tourney.

What a great time to be a Warrior fan. Both teams should be comfortably in with nothing but positive signs on the horizon.

We are killing it in quite a number of sports this year.

Women's soccer won the BEast regular season championship.
Volleyball made the NCAA tournanment and 4 players were named 1st team All Big East.
Women's Track and Field won the Indoor Big East Championship, and the Men were Runners Up (without Wally!).
Have some patience, FFS.

More evidence of our downward slide towards SLU-dom
