Did you read any of the thread?

Here is a thread of note on him. User MattD is tied in with him and runs Endless Motor (https://twitter.com/endless_motor) out of Michigan. Lot of posts, but basically he's going to take his time, make the visit to MU. Is very close with Cain. Michigan offer could change things. Some bonus Milwaukee hating too.

Worth noting 2018 Michigan commit David DeJulius plays with Elliott at EEVP. Michigan will be in to see them both today per Endless Motor. Hopefully no offer.

158 to 176.  His parents.

Hope you found this helpful.

Michigan is his dream school, supposedly.  MSU will over recruit Elliott during his time there, it happens, happens at MU as well.   Key is Cain as they have played together
and I have to believe that is a plus.  Playing time at MU is there next year, can play Cheatham at the 3 so there will be time for Cain and Elliott to get considerable playing
time.  Back-up to Duane and back-up to Cheatham.  Anim is the wild card, not sure where he fits yet?  Any word on how he is doing in practice?

The Lens

Always great to see a person who lives in Grafton or further rip Milwaukee.  I'd rather read Duane Wilson's commentary.

Sure MKE has its share of issues but many many other rustbelt cities do to.  If the New York Times embedded a reporter in Cleveland, Akron, Toledo, Detroit, Flint, Indy etc, etc they would find many of the same problems.

I wonder what HailToTheVictor has done to help the parts MKE he drives past but wants to get further away from?

A lot of these same posters were ripping us and Milwaukee when we were recruiting Cain.  I think our chances are very good because we have better visibility to playing time.

I think it is great that the big boys are starting to go after Elliott. Does nothing but help our program.

If we want to be a top dog - we gotta get guys they are after. And with the summer circuit, players talk a lot to each other. What could be better than to have players talking about Marquette in the same texts as MSU and other powerhouses. Word of mouth is just one more recruiting tool to use.

I think it's only great if we get him......if we lose him to MSU or Michigan then it sucks

Update on that other thread about JB watching GE today. Seems like he's in a group of 4 they are interested in, no specific mention of offer forthcoming.

Jay Bee, it's in regards to our other Michigan recruit but what are your long-term thoughts on Jamal Cain?  A better Jajuan Johnson?  Does he come in with hype anywhere near Markus for you?

Stretchdeltsig

After watching several Big Ten games on tv this year, I get the impression that the league is very weak.  Marquette and other Big East teams play much better ball.

The positive for MU is that I see is that Michigan seems to have some talent already at the 2......

Clearly there is playing time next year at the 2 for a player that comes in and kicks A$$ like Howard.....

Caine looks to fit the mold at 3......

Hopefully Elliot has that drive and thinks he can do that at the 2.....

Because if he can.....and he chooses MU......A very good fit.....

Does that mean Hauser will be playing 4 again next season?

tower912

The thing about Elliott.... on paper, it may appear that he will be the 6th guard, behind MH, AR, HC, DW, and SA.   In reality, there is going to be minutes available.   And, if he puts in the work, there will be huge minutes available as a soph, particularly backing up the point.

Haven't watched enough to be real comfortable in making strong proclamations, but relative to Markus? No, not at all

Nonetheless, I like some of the physical attributes (nh), how he moves, and versatility in skill set. Seems like the upside is there... will he achieve it?
