Beating a tournament team at home in a nail biter?    What needs defending?

Is Seton Hall really an NCAA tourney team?

So you are gonna try and defend it?

Defend what?  Are missed FTs by great FT shooters and a banked in 3 on the coaching?  Not to mention

Also a fair point.

Actually I think we are considerably better then them outside of

Slanted refs, rebounding edge and a penchant for New Mexico style choking

Yes and the type of one that comes in as a 10 seed and then makes the sweet 16.  They are dangerous.

Who are you accusing? Wojo? A bank three, a highly contested one just a bit earlier and two missed free throws from a 80%+ foul shooter and a travel on the game tying shot. Perfect storm.

See my most recent post.

Youcall it a perfect storm I call it failing in 5 different situations where doing 1/5 wins the game

That was a great gutty win after two very difficult losses.  Absolutely needed to win a game like that.  Perhaps more valuable than winning by a 10 point margin because like the previous games, they fought until the end and this time were rewarded for it.

Refs did suck.

I'd say blown free throws and 5 offensive rebounds in 1 possession is a good start.

Or was Reinhardts shot a good shot in your opinion?

I'm not sure how far you're going back but I posted that KR taking that 3 instead of pulling it back out was terrible.

The blown FTs are surprising. The rebounding issue is not.

DUNKS45

That was a huge win. I thought we were in deep trouble  by having to play OT. Big missed free throws by Hanni but we really gutted this one out. Heldt was big and Marcus ha the intensity.

Ellenson Guerrero

The most frustrating this about this season is how close we seem to being pretty good.  But ultimately, it is on the players to rebound and defend -- Wojo can only scream box out so many times.

that is how I see it as well.  With Sam and Luke out , they hung tough

Not mad about rebounding overall

It's failing to grab 1 of 5.

Or even the OT ones(thank GOD we won)

in my opinion, his shots from the line were very good-all that matters.  he wanted to be a hero, well he sorta-kinda became one with those free throws-not the way i would have written it up.  if i'm wojo however, he's doing some killers tomorrow for the errant 3

Should be 13-3.

We are actually overall a very solid team

That's why this is sad

Yes absolutely killed on the boards.
Yes a dumb play by a senior grad
Yes, missed free throws by KR, his only second of year, but hit went it counted in OT
Yes, JJJ benched for 10 minutes for being stupid.

But, when the team loses Fischer and Hauser, plays their sub center who has greatest five minutes of his life, and prevents a complete nuclear meltdown of the team and this board, you take it.

Just remember the end of the game and Marcus Howard hugging Wojo and the players high fiving Heldt, thats what the game is all about.
