If Matt Heldt played in a game featuring all of the walk-ons from the Big East, would he dominate?

It sounds like you think you have come up with a clever way to to insult Heldt.

I think you're trying to be a jerk.

You just proved that you are a jerk.

Bump and Heldt played really good last night i think. Played tough in that overtime

I'm wondering if we might start to see some more offense-defense switches with Heldt and Fischer as the season goes on.  Heldt knows how to muscle up and hold his ground on defense (even if sometimes means being the bully and fouling) but is putrid on offense.  Fischer has more offensive tools, but is too cautious on D, probably as a result of his constant foul trouble last year.  I'm not calling for every play switches like Buzz ran with Otule-Gardner, but something of that variety.

Heldt answered the question.   Find your next gripe.

Matt was awesome last night on D under the basket, grabbed some rebounds and more.  Was not ready for a pass under our basket, but Matt is one of the reasons we won.

Fish is being put in a difficult position for his skill set. They have him hedging on the high pick and roll. Bad! He had three fouls below the waist. Hip fouls. And one boxing out when he should be attacking the ball. In addition, after a entry pass, especially when further away from the basket it would be nice to see fish (just once) pivot and face the goal.  Play the man to his strengths, staying in the paint on defense. Let the opposing big hit a shot or two. Anybody note fish drop step to the baseline? Spectacular. First time all year. Bardo said the same "need more of that".

Fishy would have 4-6 more points a game if he would simply dunk no-footers with authority instead of putting up those wussy layups.
Have some patience, FFS.

I was wrong. He is great. I think he's ready for 25-30 minutes!

He's not 'great'.   But his is progressing exactly how you want your 3 star bigs to progress.    He is getting better and stronger and showing that he can adequately handle consistent reserve minutes as a sophomore.
