Thought we would go 0-5 in the tough games. Coming right out and admitting I was flat out wrong. I hereby eat crow.

This team looks good.

I like your style, now the next step is Wojo.

Don't follow board closely. It's 1 game and Vanderbilt is smaller than Marquette. Good matchup for them. As I thought, scoring won't be the issue. Rebounding and defense will be the problem. Great win.

Absolutely.  But let's remember that Vandy is a team with a comparable RPI picked for the middle of a Power conference.  This is a damn impressive win.

Yeah I agree. MUFNY always posts pessimistic and hates Wojo. But props for stating you were wrong. Cheers.

Let's hope you can tastes some more of it next weekend.

Crow is an acquired taste. I hope I eat a lot of crow this season.

Class71

I love that crow! Rather win than be right on this one. ;)

Can you have over 1700 posts and not "follow  board closely"?

He rarely reads others' posts...just writes whatever pops in to his esoteric mind.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Boom! I've on here since its inception. Was that around 2004? Can't remember, not a huge fan of Dodds. I would guess 1600 of those posts were over before 2013.

Totally!

MUFINY - you take a lot of sh@!te for good reasons (dictums re: recruiting and multi threads on similar topics) but a) awesome to play into the 'too many threads' with an acceptance of being wrong and b) thanks for not getting nasty in any of this.  Keep it up!

MUFIN, the best crow you ate was when you posted a link to an article that credited Wojo for his outstanding motivational skills.

Anybody can be wrong about game predictions. Your entire basis for disliking/distrusting/disavowing Wojo was that he was a "de motivator."

Still hasn't admitted to that one.

Yeah, I thought when his own guy, JJJ, raved about Wojo's motivational ability, it would keep MUFINY from posting loony stuff ... but no.

After Lance has been there? You know how rank bikers get after long rides? No amount of showering gets that out.
