According to Jeff Goodman and 247 sports, only four Big East players were invited to the NBA draft combine - Henry, Kris Dunn, Ben Bentil and Josh Hart.  No graduating seniors were invited, and five other early entry candidates were also left off the list:  Trevon Blueitt (Xavier), Kris Jenkins (Nova), Jalen Reynolds (Xavier), Maurice Watson, Jr. (Creighton) and Isaiah Whitehead.

Nigel Hayes (UW) was also invited to the combine, as was Diamond Stone.  There were no Big East players on the alternates list.

The NBA has not released a full list of invitees, these names have been pieced together by various reports of invites received.  In the past few years, agents for potential top 5 or so picks have held their players out of the combine and instead do individual workouts/interviews with the top teams.

The NBA Combine is May 11-15 in Chicago.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

That's great.  Keep the BE strong (but I do hope Whitehead goes) and give Nigel the idea that he really is an early entry NBA player.  That kid is looking for absolutely any reason to leave early, and has been for a while.  Much like Vander was.  And much like Vander, he won't have a spot in the NBA.

Wow, hard to believe Blueitt, Jenkins and Whitehead didn't get invites. Goes to show how many excellent players there are across the U.S.

Personally, I am outraged at the snub of Mache!

he got an invite to the ref combine.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

The only one who didn't get invited to the combine that I think has a chance of being drafted is Isaiah Whitehead. The rest should really come back for another year.

I think if Bentil stays another year his draft position will improve.

Without Dunn in the lineup the defenses can focus 100% Bentil.
Just like Hayes did this year, he will fine the going harder next year if he stays.

Dunn was out quite a bit with foul trouble and Bentil did extremely well.

I agree with this analysis

Yup.  Bentil is a stud in college no matter who's next to him.  A better college player than Dunn.  Dunn will be the better pro.

Old news from a few days ago but Khris Jenkins is returning to Nova.

My C's have pick 3 and I have seen projections of Dunn in that spot. I sincerely hope not. I'll admit I didn't see a ton of PC games but on the basis of what he did against us I am unimpressed.

He will be a star in the NBA. He has great size for a point guard.

Agreed, tho Bluiett will be a good pro, IMO.
