Not to mention if we win on Saturday and Henry doesn't play not having to play until Thursday instead of Wednesday. Would give him a full 8 days to recover. If he couldn't play after 8 days it would be a pretty significant injury anyway so its a moot point.

For the love of God let's hope he is ready to lace 'em up for the Done Deal Pro-AM

Death on call

Injuries are weird. Anthony Davis look like he absolutely destroyed his knee the other night but ended up back in the next play. Then Otule back in 11-12 didn't look terrible but then it turns out he tore his ACL.

Otule has been a complete non factor the past two seasons.  None else wants to say it, but it's true.  What a waste of tenure.

Would be best to sit out the Butler game and have him as healthy as possible for BET. Hopefully it is a low ankle sprain. If it is a high ankle sprain, he is done for the year.

He needs to be as healthy as possible for the draft combine. Also there is the whole conditioning element that comes into play. There is about 10 weeks to the combine. So if it takes 6 weeks for a high ankle sprain to heal and another 4 weeks of re conditioning, he simply cannot play anymore this year.

There's no need for Hank to even go to the Combine.

Henry not playing will have an interesting effect on the Butler game. Henry had his big game against them in Milwaukee. After tonight's game Butler would of spent the rest of the time preparing to stop Henry. Now they really do not have an idea of what MU will try to do against them. Also, Butler players may be overconfident about winning, because Henry is out. Being over confident can be counter productive. We have less chance of beating Butler now, but it may not be significantly less. I would think Butler's game plan would be to take the ball to Fischer to try to get him foul trouble. Is there any news on Heldt?

Henry takes too many 3-pointers, he's too selfish and he only gets easy rebounds, anyway.

#mubb @HenryEllenson13 suffered left ankle sprain Tuesday night vs. Georgetown. Status is day-to-day.

While that information may not be much, it confirms that Ellenson did not suffer any broken bones when he landed awkwardly on his left foot with 7:20 remaining in Tuesday's 88-87 win over Georgetown. It also leaves the possibility open that Ellenson will be able to play on Saturday at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Shortly after tweeting out Ellenson's status, Marquette Basketball tweeted a photo of the Ellenson brothers doing an interview with a reporter from Sports Illustrated Kids. Henry is wearing regular shoes and it appears he is wearing a soft brace or wrap on his left ankle.

Please keep up.

ripping off his work and not posting a link is not cool.  He does a good job and deserves that support from MU fans.

But note that he already gave it away for free in another post.  Which, as if this writing, it the thread next to this one.

Yes.. And there's a link.  Don't rip off the best beat writer we've had since Rosiak.

So we are just going to forget the Enlund era? The man made the two sentence blog post an art form.

Heisendomer, why are you so damned stubborn on this.  This is not the first time you've been called out for copying Matt's work instead of posting a link.   This is how Matt makes a living.

I agreed to not post in its entirety.  I forgot the link and added it.  I apologize for that.  He lost exactly zero money from my oversight, even if I did not correct it.

He's not paid for a free blog which he gives away on a message board.  A best the advertising makes few hundred dollars a month (and probably less than that).  He's paid to write for a bankrupt newspaper.

He's just an internet aggregator.  You are all getting worked out about a blog post that is nothing but re-posting MU tweets about Henry.  Their was no new content.

There, I said it, I don't think he is very good.  He's better than the drunk, but he's not really doing much in the way of "good content."

And his audience is the sweater vests that buy dead trees, which no one here cares about.

Finally, congrats for hijacking this thread (again) with this faux outrage.  I was, and remain, more interested in talking about Henry's ankle than a bankrupt newspaper with a broken business model that no one really gives a sh!t about.

Could not disagree more,  and obviously I won't be the only one. Matt writes feature articles, full length game previews for every game, post game and pre game notes....not sure what else you;re looking for.
