+1, well said, the future is bright.

If the future is so bright (figuring Henry goes pro, heard that from more than one source) do you believe with the players MU has coming back next year, they make
the tournament?  Right now I do not see it.  The Big East will be just as tough next year except maybe Providence.

How is Wisconsin looking so bright? Both teams have wins against a top-10 opponent, Marquette over Providence on the road, UW over Michigan State at home. Both have 3 wins in conference play, Marquette with 2/3 against bottom feeders, Wisconsin with 2/3 against bottom feeders. They are still a team with a losing record in conference that will more likely be watching the NCAAs at home while hoping for a NIT berth.

Butler loses Dunham and Jones.  Think they slide a bit.  The Brad Stevens' days will be over.

You could have just said both teams suck & it would have been a lot easier  8-)

Losing HE would potentially be a big hit, but I do think the future is brighter next year.  We will have JJJ, Luke & Duane all in their 4th year of high-major ball.  JJJ is clearly making a step forward through this season.  I would bet that Luke looks a little better next year as well with a whole off-season to refine his shooting (due to no surgery).  Hopefully Rowsey can shoot like people say.

Our Freshman will hopefully no longer be playing like freshmen.  Guard play is so important so a jump here can be very impactful.  PG progression is probably most critical.

That being said we need a re-bounder to replace HE -- absolutely critical.  If he goes that will be a huge hole in the team - unless we can get our guards to be able to crash the boards effectively.

Finally, if we don't have the players or the progression to be in the post season next year I think there will be uncomfortable questions about the direction of things.

The Badgers are 11-9, there going to the NIT as well, maybe another match-up this year.  There future is good next year if Hayes comesback, or there future is no
different that MU.  Be OK next year, but after that, who knows, they do not even know who there coach will be, Bo hurt recruiting big time.  Should have quit after the
tournament.  Left the program in limbo, much like Buzz left MU, on empty.  They do not even have a recruit signed for next year.
